we tend to give credence to what we read first but it also depends on already held beliefs

if u already know a lot of science the books have different impact on u

(parents + religion) is a good example

at that point its basically ur parents who decide for u tho

i asked some about space x and if they manage

basically

if u have 50000€ u can know fe is false/true for fact

just travel to south pole when sun is supposed to shine 24/7

and if sun does

fe has a problem

but its not cheap

and fe wont take i have seen it from someone else easy

and travel to mars or to space wont be cheap either

a few k bucks will it cost at cheapest probably

so i dont think it will go away that easy
