When I ask why people don't know when they are upside down on the baal Earth gravity is the answer.. so gravity is also an orientation or and direction.

Gravity is a force that increases in strength the larger an object is. The effects of my gravity and someone else's are not strong enough to overcome other forces.
However, on a large scale, gravity is an incredibly strong force - strong enough to hold superclusters of galaxies together.

Gravity also works differently on interplanetary scales than you might think. The reason why planets don't get locked in place around a star and instead move around them, is because gravity is causing the planet to constantly fall towards the star. However, the planet will miss the star every time. This causes a circular orbit.
Its the same reason why satellites orbit the earth the way they do
