Let me run you down a few of the reasons that I've heard and maybe what I even believe might be the cause of it

2. Density/Buoyancy
3. Electromagnetism

Yes. Florida. Density and buoyancy are NOT forces. Objects are weightless in vacuum. This means a force is still required to give it weight.

And electromagnetism would not work either since the sun and moon are afloat, which would affect the objects on Earth’s surface. They would have to be an exception to this electromagnetic law.
