So here’s my thing. We have two conflicting viewpoints. One says flat, one says sphere. Flat Earthers trust their sources, globe Earthers trust theirs. Now, this is the idea I’d like to explore. Which one of these two should be trusted/distrusted, and why. Please present your case for the FE side. Why should they be trusted sources of information?

The reason I ask this is because every FE meme and video I’ve ever seen has been deliberately deceptive. However, FEs trust these meme and video creators and distrust NASA and science as a whole (both of which have never been proven to be deceptive).

I find that odd. So, let’s explore. Why were you so quick to distrust NASA, but not quick to distrust the proven deception from FE memes and videos. I’m not being rude here. This is a genuine question.

Here’s another question. Have you ever looked at the planets through a telescope?

Because I always see FEs claiming that planets don’t look like the planets we’ve been told to believe. They are simply moving lights in the sky.

Is this what you believe as well, or do you believe they are round celestial objects with their own orbits?

Anybody who has observed the planets through a telescope knows the planets are NOT simply moving lights. This is the flat Earth claim. Maybe you haven’t spoken with as many FEs as I have. They believe planets are simply blurry lights that appear as lights in water because of the ‘waters above’. Now, since you don’t believe that, but believe they are celestial bodies, where do they exist? Within the dome, or outer space?

Most FEs don’t believe in outer space, hence the reason for the conspiracy (to make us feel insignificant and not connected to god). But it seems you may believe in outer space.

Okay, so on November 11 Mercury will be passing between us and the Sun (transit of Mercury). If the sun is local, this would mean Mercury is even closer to us in this dome than the sun, correct?

We can predict the transits of Mercury and Venus with great accuracy because we know the orbits of the planets and it’s been observed for hundreds of years. The transit of Mercury happens quite often.

Well you can check out the amateur videos and photos of Venus (2012) and Mercury (2016) transiting the sun, and you can verify all the past and future dates of this occurrence.

So if you believe there are planets, do you believe in outer space?

If gravity didn’t exist on Earth, then masses/objects would be weightless. Gravity gives weight to mass

We can prove that mass attracts mass towards their centers with the LAW of Universal Gravitation. Do you trust this LAW?

The greater the masses, the greater the force of attraction. The greater the distance between their centers, the weaker the attraction. That’s it. Since Earth is a MASSIVE object, all objects on Earth will attract toward its center.

Well if gravity wasn’t real, then a force would be REQUIRED to force all objects DOWNWARD

Why Down? Why aren’t objects forced in any other direction?

On Earth, but the same is true in space. In space the direction to which things are being attracted is down (since there is a mass attracting it)

How so?

So, let’s speak of Earth. Right now you and every other mass are being attracted or forced downward. Why? What is forcing you in this particular direction?

And to deny that a force is required, then you must now deny the 1st Law of Motion

What is the force forcing all objects down?

Yes. Florida. Density and buoyancy are NOT forces. Objects are weightless in vacuum. This means a force is still required to give it weight.

And electromagnetism would not work either since the sun and moon are afloat, which would affect the objects on Earth’s surface. They would have to be an exception to this electromagnetic law.

And the sun, moon and stars also require a force to move them on an orbit above. All of this is unexplained in the false FE theory

What is projecting them onto the dome?

If they orbiting above us, why don’t they fall? What causes them to move?

What causes the sun to change direction at will to shift between tropics to provide the differences between northern and Southern Hemisphere seasons? None of this can be explained on a FE

Yes but what causes the sun to shift between the tropics at will?

None of this fits into a coherent story. It’s all BS. Please do yourself a favor and give this up. Learn from this and teach your kids how easily it is to become deceived when you haven’t had the proper education. Fortunately for you FEs haven’t asked you to commit murder or suicide (yet). Others who have blindly followed and defended deceptive groups who claim to see the truth.
