A problem with some satellites is form factor. For example, antennae booms. If you could 3d print trusses in space you can reduce the form factor and increase the amount of satellites you have per a volume being send up

Additionally, as satellites improve in number and modularity have keepers and utility sats becomes more economical. Almost all satellites now are fully self contained, propulsion, comms, power, thinking. If you can reduce some of these components by have utility sats, you can drastically raise the amount of satellites per launch due to being simpler and smaller
