Yo yo yo
If you're not skeptical of COVID you're not a skeptic! You have faith in authority. Government is your god.
Ok but what if I know people who have had covid?
People believe in the existence of Covid, but they dispute its severity.
> If you're not skeptical of COVID you're not a skeptic! You have faith in authority. Government is your god.
@Baal Diablo
It's not faith in authority. It's literally having no other options. I'll listen to the people that WE pay to do science, when it comes to matters of science.
Too bad the people we think we pay don't feel the same way.
There no such thing as virus ... until today 2020 they still dont know how work , so why anyone would trust them .....
Because many people die presenting the same symptoms. So "they" decided to implement measures that make less people die. Less people dieing is better than more people dieing. And yes, it seems "they" know a lot about the virus. They know more, not less than 5 months ago.
> Ok but what if I know people who have had covid?
@ola Then you haven't been skeptical of that claim.
I had it and didn't feel sick at all. And I know a lot of people in a similar position.

@Baal Diablo how so?
> I had it and didn't feel sick at all. And I know a lot of people in a similar position.
@Yussuki ₪ how do you know you had it? Also, yes, it affects people differently, some (a significant percentage) are even asymptomatic, but the ones that get it bad get it real bad and perhaps die of course but also perhaps end up with long term consequences, some of which we dont yet know. I met a man yesterday who had a heart attack following recovery from covid, his cardiologist feels it was related, and another man who has a debilitating cough still left after spending April and May in the ICU. Another man has lost eyesight in one eye...how much do we even know about these cases?
I tested for Antibodies. Costs like 20 USD.
Amazing. Was that something you bought from the internet or your doctor did it?
I'm a doctor 😂 Everyone can do it in my country. Every lab does it. It's not that difficult.
But also not that failsafe? Is this the one that gives a certain percentage of false results?
There is always some percentage of false results in every test of any disease
The Antibodies test is more accurate than the standard test.
U do the antibodies 40-50 days after the supposed contact.
Or more.
Well, guys, I'm not up to date admittedly as the last time I paid proper attention to the news was May. Back then, there was a lot of concern about the limits of antibody testing.

But if there is confidence in the tests, why aren't we all getting regular tests? Might be helpful.
My guess is because if millions of people would realize they had it with no symptoms, population would lose faith in Government . And thats not good.
I’m getting another test today.
My government, and its opposition, really would like this covid stuff to be over so they can get on with arguing about Brexit, Reunification of Ireland, and new ways to make money out of the homeless.
Stone wy another test?
so many false positives
Because my symptoms didn’t go away
And if I’m to go to work - I need to be sure
Don’t wanna put others at risk
Might just be a normal seasonal flu
But better to be sure
I want a test every day. I cant take having to worry about it anymore.
The test is quite annoying lol. The swab goes way up your nose. Hate that haha
I wish I could take an antibody test and discover I've already had it, I'd be so happy!
> The test is quite annoying lol. The swab goes way up your nose. Hate that haha
@StoneCold316
Oh yes, its horrible, I dont want THAT test every day, I want a new magic one.
Ola - stop worrying. Just use mitigation preventative measures. Be calm. Can’t stop living 🙂
I know, I know. But I've been trying to be cool about it since January and now I'm getting impatient.
Heh - I understand. I was around 250 people in a studio for 7 days. And at the end of it got really sick
Test was negative
