There is always some percentage of false results in every test of any disease

2020-09-26 21:14:07 UTC

The Antibodies test is more accurate than the standard test.

2020-09-26 21:14:41 UTC

U do the antibodies 40-50 days after the supposed contact.

2020-09-26 21:14:48 UTC

Or more.

2020-09-26 21:20:35 UTC

Well, guys, I'm not up to date admittedly as the last time I paid proper attention to the news was May. Back then, there was a lot of concern about the limits of antibody testing.

But if there is confidence in the tests, why aren't we all getting regular tests? Might be helpful.

2020-09-27 00:31:15 UTC

My guess is because if millions of people would realize they had it with no symptoms, population would lose faith in Government . And thats not good.

2020-09-27 12:16:24 UTC

I’m getting another test today.

2020-09-27 13:08:46 UTC

My government, and its opposition, really would like this covid stuff to be over so they can get on with arguing about Brexit, Reunification of Ireland, and new ways to make money out of the homeless.

2020-09-27 13:24:20 UTC

Stone wy another test?

2020-09-27 13:24:49 UTC

so many false positives

2020-09-27 13:25:06 UTC

Because my symptoms didn’t go away

2020-09-27 13:25:47 UTC

And if I’m to go to work - I need to be sure

2020-09-27 13:25:55 UTC

Don’t wanna put others at risk

2020-09-27 13:26:04 UTC

Might just be a normal seasonal flu

2020-09-27 13:26:09 UTC

But better to be sure

2020-09-27 13:28:01 UTC

I want a test every day. I cant take having to worry about it anymore.

2020-09-27 13:28:31 UTC

The test is quite annoying lol. The swab goes way up your nose. Hate that haha

2020-09-27 13:28:34 UTC

I wish I could take an antibody test and discover I've already had it, I'd be so happy!

2020-09-27 13:29:39 UTC

@StoneCold316
Oh yes, its horrible, I dont want THAT test every day, I want a new magic one.

2020-09-27 13:30:17 UTC

Ola - stop worrying. Just use mitigation preventative measures. Be calm. Can’t stop living 🙂

2020-09-27 13:31:00 UTC

I know, I know. But I've been trying to be cool about it since January and now I'm getting impatient.

2020-09-27 13:31:48 UTC

Heh - I understand. I was around 250 people in a studio for 7 days. And at the end of it got really sick

2020-09-27 13:32:02 UTC

Test was negative

2020-09-27 13:32:20 UTC

But still have flu like symptoms

2020-09-27 13:32:32 UTC

No fever no aches. Can smell and taste fine.

2020-09-27 13:32:33 UTC

Glad to hear. But 250 people is a lot! Doesn't sound a good idea.

2020-09-27 13:33:05 UTC

Yea - it’s my job, was put on hold since March - got a specialized agency to set up protocols for covid and went ahead with it finally

2020-09-27 13:34:51 UTC

So far all 250 people are ok. That was part of the protocols to keep a check of.

2020-09-27 13:38:13 UTC

You should be happy if you test positive

2020-09-27 13:38:25 UTC

That's good news. Apart from the flu.🙂

2020-09-27 13:38:49 UTC

Why happy zino?

2020-09-27 13:38:50 UTC

Happier if protocols work.

2020-09-27 13:39:18 UTC

Because you will form your own Antibodies and be safer for the future. No vaccine needed than.

2020-09-27 13:39:28 UTC

Yes ola. Tried to be as careful as possible, even if it added cost to the whole project

2020-09-27 13:39:46 UTC

But zino - I heard that people are having long term trouble after corona?

2020-09-27 13:40:13 UTC

Do the antibodies last forever? No. Are you immune forever anyway?

2020-09-27 13:40:56 UTC

No, they don't last forever but the immune system memory is what really counts.

2020-09-27 13:41:22 UTC

Right. But with vaccines, we need to get boosters ....

2020-09-27 13:41:27 UTC

?
