I grew up in an area with a lot of different branches of Christianity including Catholics, I can only remember the smaller ones adhering to the sunday thing. A lot of catholics are like a lot of Jews in that they are really only culturally religious and don't really care much besides the doing the rituals from time to time, so that complicates that matter.

But ofcourse if people overall had good morality combined with knowledge and understanding to not be fooled by trickery, we could function with money.
