#NagornoKarabakh: the rumors of Serbian volunteer fighters on the theater of battle (in support of the separatists) are increasing, while it is confirmed that at least 80 Greek citizens have left the front in these days, both ethnic Greeks and Armenian origin. Hundreds more are on their way to the front and could leave soon.
There are also strange movements from Moldova, a country that hosts a small but influential Armenian community and that in July, during the Azerbaijani-Armenian skirmishes, witnessed a mini-urban guerrilla between Armenians and Azeris on the streets of the capital.
And it is also from Moldova that the Serbian arms shipments directed to # Armenia have passed.
When we said to you "volunteers departing from Orthodox countries", we meant this. It does not matter how much the Armenian Church is actually framed in the Orthodox context (a very complicated situation, which some readers had intelligently exposed in the comments), what matters is the way in which this bond is perceived by the faithful and by the peoples.
And in Greece, in recent days, several marches of Orthodox faithful (very participatory) have taken place to show solidarity with the Armenian people.
