Hi Folks, with parentheses in the narrative today I thought I would pen this out as I have not heard anyone talking about 'Programming Notation'

**PERENTHESES WITHIN CODING NOTATION**
Parentheses are also used within programming notation to show the order in which to perform the calculations that make up an algorithm, For example in the following where x=2 and y=3
X + Y * 2 = 8 because the multiplication would be calculated first, then the addition, 3 x 2 = 6 + 2 however by adding parentheses I can change the calculation order so,
(X + Y) * 2 = 10 or 2 + 3 = 5 * 2 because the calculations contained within the parentheses are calculated first, if a parenthesis PAIR contains another parenthesis pair then this separate PAIR contained within the original PAIR would be calculated first...
so
((X + Y)*2)+1 = 3 + 2 = 5 * 2 = 10 + 1
