Where's the math behind it? I bet it doesn't use anything other than 'it looks that way'.

2019-10-17 02:41:56 UTC

Math. You mean like the southern tilt of the earth 66.6 degrees. The curve of the earth 0.666 feet times miles SQUARED. The speed of the earth around the sun. 66,640 MPH. So much 666 it makes me sick.

2019-10-17 02:42:41 UTC

I'm wearing all polyester, idiot! look upon me countenance.

2019-10-17 02:42:46 UTC

I got a question for you. Explain to me the southern cross.

2019-10-17 02:43:59 UTC

Why? Who cares. Explain to me why Polaris can be seen south of the Equator. That would be impossible were it directly above the North Pole.

2019-10-17 02:44:25 UTC
2019-10-17 02:44:31 UTC

atmosphere acting as a lens, as well as the tilt of the earth. Not a hard one, Steve.

2019-10-17 02:44:59 UTC

Flat earth can't explain how the Southern Cross acts just like Polaris.

2019-10-17 02:45:19 UTC

Yes such stupid excuses. You imagine that the atmosphere can perfectly bend light on a Globe to make it look like the earth is FLAT. Yet you ignore that perhaps it really is FLAT.

2019-10-17 02:45:41 UTC

I didn't ignore that. I ruled it out.

2019-10-17 02:46:33 UTC

@Steve Angell
when qresearch returns on 8kun,
spend time on the board, pay attention to the posters that promote FE, pay attention to their userids, see what other things they post,

check the old qresearch archvies for plenty of examples of this https://qresear.ch/

with this its easy to see the spooks push FE on the chans.

2019-10-17 02:47:08 UTC

Wow he did a stupid explanation. So what? Who cares. Why only go to one video where he made a mistake?

2019-10-17 02:48:19 UTC

A mirage is distorted. Air is constantly moving. Nothing stable about it. To compare moving air to stable unmoving water is such nonsense.

2019-10-17 02:48:48 UTC

what? that vid is 12 min long you clearly hvnt watched it yet to be judging it,
explain refraction bro? we can all see it in a glass of water as that video demonstrates

2019-10-17 02:49:03 UTC

stir water in your glass bro

2019-10-17 02:52:04 UTC

Again just look at your video 6:13. Waves are blocking part of Chicago but much of it is still seen. Far more than possible based on the supposed curve of the Globe. His explanation is that the atmosphere is perfect like unmoving water thus always bends light down. Why? Well he never explains why always down? Strange like he has no clue what is really causing the bend even though he does say temperature gradient. Hmmm. Wait what about that. Would it not matter. What if it is the opposite one day than the previous day? How would that not change it up to down or down to up. And again why this perfect bending of light by air in constant movement. Such nonsense in so many ways.

2019-10-17 02:52:48 UTC

your ignoring so much about this. its like shouting at a river

2019-10-17 02:53:05 UTC

thats why most people just ignore flat earthers

2019-10-17 02:54:47 UTC

Well water is so different than air. Water has a very solid barrier. Air to water. Air has no such barrier. Temperature gradient is not the least bit a strong barrier like water. It fluctuates over the area and is never perfectly level. It can take hundreds or even thousands of feet to come to completion.

2019-10-17 02:56:12 UTC

You are disputing truth. You are the one shouting nonsense. You want me to believe some very poorly done video where the one doing it has no clue what he is even saying.

2019-10-17 02:56:28 UTC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lyqArVvdvo start here, since you don't want to pick for yourself.

2019-10-17 02:57:32 UTC

All you have watched so far is stuff that doesn't challenge what you believe, Steve. It's easy to believe anything if you do that.

2019-10-17 02:57:45 UTC

if air has no such barrier why does air resistance burst comets and wear down paint on planes etc

2019-10-17 02:57:57 UTC

like i said, you ignore so much

2019-10-17 02:57:59 UTC

Wow oh Wow. Just believe the Globers that Gravity is real. Why? Mass to mass attraction is totally unproven.

2019-10-17 02:58:24 UTC

Saying it doesn't and proving it doesn't are two different things.

2019-10-17 02:58:29 UTC

Saying something doesn't prove it.

2019-10-17 02:58:56 UTC

Comets hit the air. They break apart over many miles. Nothing at all like a plane crashing into the ocean water.

2019-10-17 02:59:16 UTC

I'm a fame [f][a][g] ya digging me polyester suit?

2019-10-17 02:59:29 UTC

What are the meteors hitting before they hit land or water to make them break apart, Steve?

2019-10-17 02:59:42 UTC

Magnets are real. Magnetism is real. That is not gravity which is not real.

2019-10-17 03:00:57 UTC

I just said. They hit heavier air. The amount of air increases as they go down. It takes numerous miles of air before they break apart. Nothing like a plane crashing straight down into the ocean water.

2019-10-17 03:01:57 UTC

I lived in Arizona for over ten years. I saw numerous mirages they were very wavy making it look like there were lakes where there was just dry hot land.

2019-10-17 03:03:01 UTC

That is how mirages work. They could occur over a lake because of temperature. But you would just have your vision blocked. Never would they act like a prism.

2019-10-17 03:03:36 UTC

I saw, I saw, I saw. That doesn't prove anything. Measurements prove things. I saw just gives a subjective data point, not an objective one.

2019-10-17 03:03:57 UTC

Think density, phase and surface tension. Liquid and gas are both fluids with different properties.

2019-10-17 03:04:05 UTC

does north south east west have meaning in a flat earth?

2019-10-17 03:04:37 UTC

Again how I started this. I saw Norfolk Harbor Inlet from 30 miles away. I saw the shore. I saw a huge ship. Everything seen. Nothing at all blocked by any curve of the water.

2019-10-17 03:05:04 UTC

There as of yet no valid flat earth model that matches distances between two points on Earth.

2019-10-17 03:05:38 UTC

Of course North is North. The North Pole. East is East and West is west. We go around the center if we go due east or west and would return to where we started if we did it perfectly.
