families will prepare large meals and youth groups will help with decor

2020-08-01 07:17:46 UTC

They must have a lot of money

2020-08-01 07:17:50 UTC

Jeez

2020-08-01 07:17:53 UTC

They run the state lol

2020-08-01 07:18:03 UTC

They do? Wtf

Fr

2020-08-01 07:18:29 UTC

mormon church owns basically all the land here, all government positions are housed by mormons

2020-08-01 07:18:34 UTC

but almost the entire state is mormon so it doesnt matter

2020-08-01 07:18:40 UTC

We run ourselves way better than the rest of the USA runs itself

2020-08-01 07:18:58 UTC

our money gets spent on maintaining large and strong white families and ensuring we always have a giant middle class

2020-08-01 07:19:20 UTC

Based

2020-08-01 07:19:59 UTC

I dont care if people dont want to be mormon, but they can at least learn lessons from how we structure our self management

2020-08-01 07:20:10 UTC

Wish other American Christians were like that.

2020-08-01 07:20:15 UTC

Had a sense of community

2020-08-01 07:20:16 UTC

I would love it if catholics and protestants did that, exactly dude

2020-08-01 07:21:14 UTC

I think that sense of community was purposely eroded from the catholics and protestants, they were mainstream and tied deeply to white culture

2020-08-01 07:21:27 UTC

but I think mormons were 'spared 'because they were more on the fringe and isolated

is it true that the bible says to kill gays

something like

“if a man lies with a man as he would with a woman, he should pay in blood”

2020-08-01 20:33:00 UTC

@Real Morgan “Morgz” Hudson 🇬🇧 “The Bible says” is a really interesting statement

2020-08-01 20:33:01 UTC

GG @Senna, you just advanced to level <:ezgif179e8c5c31011:712107431416561750> 4 !

2020-08-01 20:35:30 UTC

You’re probably referring to Leviticus, which was Mosaic law that the Hebrews followed. Christians no longer follow Mosaic law, so it’s viewed more as a historical book/manual as to what happened back in the day.

oh okay

2020-08-01 22:26:27 UTC

Maybe we don't follow it, but it still matters

2020-08-01 22:26:40 UTC

The OT matters just as much as the NT.

2020-08-01 22:27:29 UTC

In the OT, we can see how we got by before Jesus was crucified.

2020-08-01 22:27:59 UTC

It really implicitly talks about Christ, it's amazing.

2020-08-01 22:28:51 UTC

Like the sacrifice of animals, we no longer need to do that. He has shed the blood for us.

2020-08-01 22:29:02 UTC

Antifa demonstrators are burning bibles in front of the courthouse in Portland smh

2020-08-01 22:29:11 UTC

Ik

2020-08-01 22:29:31 UTC

I wish they can just get stomped at this point.

2020-08-01 22:29:37 UTC

Really pissed me off.

2020-08-02 05:09:48 UTC

It matters very much. No book in the Bible is obscure. My wording was just a response to the common, “I heard somewhere in the Bible...”

2020-08-02 05:12:05 UTC

I’ve developed the reflex that anytime I hear that phrase, I know it’s Leviticus. I blame the neckbeards who try to use it against us Christians for making me like this. I mean, the book told us to not eat the bat.

i was just curious cause i saw a “homophobic” meme that said the bible says gays should be killed

and i was just curious if it actually said that

2020-08-02 18:40:19 UTC

The Hebrews probably put gays to death for all I know
