the church and community covered everything for him
That wedding must have been small. Lol
No
there were like 100 people
again, the church and community subsidides and supports marraige here
ezpz to get married for cheap and still have a good wedding in utah
Dude. Normal weddings cost like well over $10 K
the people who charge thousands of dollars for weddings are being ripped off by scam artists
outside of utah maybe
not here
Like ive said previously, Utah as an entity is almost unrecognizable compared to the rest of the USA
Maybe mormons do it different
I already said the church and community cover all marraiges
families will prepare large meals and youth groups will help with decor
They must have a lot of money
Jeez
They run the state lol
They do? Wtf
Fr
mormon church owns basically all the land here, all government positions are housed by mormons
We run ourselves way better than the rest of the USA runs itself
our money gets spent on maintaining large and strong white families and ensuring we always have a giant middle class
Based
I dont care if people dont want to be mormon, but they can at least learn lessons from how we structure our self management
Wish other American Christians were like that.
Had a sense of community
I would love it if catholics and protestants did that, exactly dude
I think that sense of community was purposely eroded from the catholics and protestants, they were mainstream and tied deeply to white culture
but I think mormons were 'spared 'because they were more on the fringe and isolated
is it true that the bible says to kill gays
something like
“if a man lies with a man as he would with a woman, he should pay in blood”
@Real Morgan “Morgz” Hudson 🇬🇧 “The Bible says” is a really interesting statement
GG @Senna, you just advanced to level <:ezgif179e8c5c31011:712107431416561750> 4 !
You’re probably referring to Leviticus, which was Mosaic law that the Hebrews followed. Christians no longer follow Mosaic law, so it’s viewed more as a historical book/manual as to what happened back in the day.
oh okay
Maybe we don't follow it, but it still matters
The OT matters just as much as the NT.
In the OT, we can see how we got by before Jesus was crucified.
It really implicitly talks about Christ, it's amazing.
