@Real Morgan “Morgz” Hudson 🇬🇧 “The Bible says” is a really interesting statement
GG @Senna, you just advanced to level <:ezgif179e8c5c31011:712107431416561750> 4 !
You’re probably referring to Leviticus, which was Mosaic law that the Hebrews followed. Christians no longer follow Mosaic law, so it’s viewed more as a historical book/manual as to what happened back in the day.
oh okay
Maybe we don't follow it, but it still matters
The OT matters just as much as the NT.
In the OT, we can see how we got by before Jesus was crucified.
It really implicitly talks about Christ, it's amazing.
Like the sacrifice of animals, we no longer need to do that. He has shed the blood for us.
Antifa demonstrators are burning bibles in front of the courthouse in Portland smh
Ik
I wish they can just get stomped at this point.
Really pissed me off.
It matters very much. No book in the Bible is obscure. My wording was just a response to the common, “I heard somewhere in the Bible...”
I’ve developed the reflex that anytime I hear that phrase, I know it’s Leviticus. I blame the neckbeards who try to use it against us Christians for making me like this. I mean, the book told us to not eat the bat.
i was just curious cause i saw a “homophobic” meme that said the bible says gays should be killed
and i was just curious if it actually said that
The Hebrews probably put gays to death for all I know
I was thinking about moving into the forest east of salt lake city, UT to homestead
no
why would you want to live in utah then?
It isn't california
GG @i likes pie, you just advanced to level <:ezgif179e8c5c31011:712107431416561750> 1 !
Take the South-pill
I would really like to, but a factor is how safe during civil unrest
bruh
So wyoming would be cool, I could buy a house near kanye and nobody lives there, utah is second
i know you didn't just ask that
why?
Depending on where you live, nobody will do anything.
A good example: if covid actually had a 5% death rate across all age ranges
Only thing I've seen here is a stoner kid holding a BLM sign on a street
Not that cause of unrest
supply chain disruption
utility disruption
caused by things like, supply chain disruption, governmental issues, earthquakes, solar flares
What do you think?
Only problem we have here is hurricanes, but that's not the entire state.
The economy here is great, gas is cheap, and you can decide how close/far you want to be to cities.
