GDP is in no way arbitrary, what the hell does that even mean, gdp is "bloat used by a very small clique". While I can demonstrate that free trade benefits all sides involved by increasing productivity, increasing overall numbers of jobs, and drastically lowering cost of goods, all you can do is vaguely strawman my position
