thought... they're taking out the Universities first that's where the deep state generates its recruiting... numerous multimillion dollar lawsuits are being filed by a number of people for a number of reasons including devaluation of their degrees and... and the list of Major Universities is growing in leaps and bounds
@Sara you are right
@Anastasia Romanoff - The translation of that Latin hymn presented in the video you posted is controversial. I'm not Catholic, but I do feel it's important we remain fair & balanced in our evaluation of evidence, so here's the alternative take:
http://latindiscussion.com/forum/latin/flammas-eius-lucifer-matutinus-inv%C3%A9niat-ille-inquam-lucifer-qui-nescit-occ%C3%A1sum-christus-f%C3%ADlius.14071/
The idea that Lucifer must always refer to Satan doesn't appear to be the case in Christian history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifer_of_Cagliari
There's also this evidence to show that in the Vulgate Latin translation, the Latin "lucifer" is used to refer to Jesus as Morning Star in other hymns.
@Sara good night... sleep well
@LegLamp - Stella Maris sometimes refers to an icon of the Virgin Mary. Stella Matutina in the Vulgate; a very literal rendering of Greek's Heosphorus; bright & shining star. It's a reference to Venus which in spring precedes the rising of the sun
Fitting metaphor for Easter which occurs in Spring & celebrates the resurrection of the True Light which Enlightens the World.
However, lucifer in Latin also refers to Venus so it's likely that's what's being referred to in the hymn.
What is the point you are trying to make?
Someone posted a video of a Catholic Easter Hymn early where the author of the video tries to suggest that the Pope was praising Lucifer (Satan)
Yes I seen that .
Just sharing some data on an alternative point of view based on the history of the hymn. It's likely just a reference to Christ as morning star; a reference to Revelation
Right .....Q Map says........
We do know he is from a communist country though... Let's see where it all goes... "Pray and Keep Watch"
@LegLamp - Amen to that. All the more reason to critically examine the evidence & strive to present truth. Even if Pope Francis is a devil-worshiping baby eater, it doesn't alter the context & history of that hymn. It's one reason the elites hide behind symbolism & metaphorical language; because they can give the outward appearance of Christian piety while inwardly holding a different meaning to the words & intending to worship someone else. We see this doctrine in both Jewish & Muslim teaching on religious dissumulation
