A flight from Boston to San Francisco is being diverted to Chicago, according to airport and airline officials.
United spokeswoman Andrea Hiller said United Flight 351 is being diverted for a mechanical issue. She was unable to elaborate on the issue but said oxygen masks were not deployed.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. β A man accused of making child porn and adding a copyright to it has entered a not guilty plea in federal court.
Dashawn Webster was arrested, accused of molesting a two-year-old boy, court documents said.
Investigators carried out two investigations into multiple screen names and said the screen names traced back to Webster.
In one of the cases, investigators recovered a thumb drive during a search of a different suspectβs home. The thumb drive contained 15 images of child pornography and were watermarked with a copyright symbol and appeared to be homemade, court documents said.
Oh Thursday Webster was in court and pleaded not guilty, choosing to continue to a preliminary hearing and jury trial, court records showed.
He is expected back in court in September.

What was billed to be a family celebration, now has some South Georgia parents and residents angry and speaking out.
Critics said Ginuwine, the R&B artist who performed at the concert for the Albany Fourth of July, was not appropriate for small children.
Others said they thought the show was fine.
"The concert was awesome. Everyone enjoyed themselves. There was no fighting or violence or anything," said Kiara Davis, who attended the concert.
But two days after the concert, some parents and residents are making it known that they actually did not enjoy themselves.
"It's something that should have been vetted in advance. You know, what kind of music and what kind of songs and lyrics this individual would be signing," said Frank Ramano, who also attended the concert.
Many people who went to Wednesday night's concert said the city advertised a family-friendly event, but they said the concert was anything but. They said Ginuwine's lyrics were over-sexualized and they didn't think they were appropriate for small children.
"I really wouldn't want my kids to hear it," said Gregory Mango, a resident.
The people concerned by the city's choice in performer said they simply should have better-warned parents of the nature of the music that was played.
"It was a good concert, but I just think had it been advertised properly, some of the parents who were offended would not have brought their children to the concert," said Ramano.
Still, some enjoyed Ginuwine so much, they're already ready for another concert in Albany.
"I think there should be more concerts to the city to bring the city out to come together as one," said Davis.
