A Prayer for You ...

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. If our salvation is not secure, how could Jesus say about those to whom He gives eternal life, "they shall never perish"?

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand."
John 10:28-29

"They shall never perish." His is not a probationary life. "No man can pluck them out of My hand." There could not be a stronger statement.

Notice that you are in good hands: both of them. There are two hands involved: "my hand" (v.28) and "my Fathers hand" (v.29). The "eternal fist" of the Father and the Son.

@SisSea Yeng you are welcome. I don't know if you go to youtube for Patriots Soapbox but I sent that video to Good Dog and he loved it! I sent it as a suggestion for him to get volunteers to make a video like it. The Psalm reader videos he made for his and Radix's show are so beautiful. I think I posted those also. Look above. It is volunteers he recorded reading different Psalms. My favorite reader is Buttercup who is Good Dog's wife. I play that video of all of them over and over. Fellowship, committees and clubs are all right under the right circumstances, but this kind of an answer to that kind of a problem presupposes that those who give the answer have misuderstood the problem. There are three things they misunderstand. First, they misunderstand the nature of Christian faith. Christian faith is inward, not outward. It is of the spirit and not of the flesh. The kingdom of God is within you, Christ dwells in your heart, and "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27) is the burning core of the Christian faith. So Christianity, the true Christian faith, is inward in nature--we are to be inwardly Christians. It is inside, somewhere in the spirit, soul and heart--the inner person--that we get into the rut. Because the problem is inward, it is ridiculous to say, "All right. The inner person, the spirit of me, the inner shrine of me, is in a rut. It isn't where it ought to be, so let's eat something."
