God Who made us, Who knows our every ailment and provides the cure for every illness, we lift up in Your presence @Patriot64 , whose journey has included a challenge in the form of cancer. We pray that this child of Yours, who is dwelling in the shadow of the Most High, will emerge from the progress test with a shout of victory and a deeper sense of thanksgiving for all You provide in this life and the next. We pray for the opportunity to share in the rejoicing thereafter, knowing that a simple touch of the hem of Your garment brings wholeness to the broken, healing to the sick, and health to the ailing. Bless Patriot64 on the way to this appointment with the sense of the warm oil of anointing for healing, and open the mouth of Your servant to sing. We pray in the Name of the One whose touch is the answer to all of our needs, the solution to all of our problems--Jesus Christ. Amen.

last night Rani Rich came on said prayers please he just found out his son has a fast growing cancer tumor.

2019-06-28 12:21:27 UTC

God, You are our Refuge and Strength, a present help in times of trouble. Though the mountains quake in the heart of the sea, though the waters roar and foam with its fury, we will not fear. In the light of Your presence, we lift up the son of Rani Rich. He and his family are facing a mountain called "tumor." According to Yeshua's faith and confidence, we stand in agreement and tell this mountain to MOVE. God of Might, fill us--and especially the family of Rani Rich--with the Spirit of Love that casts out fear! Pour your irresistable healing over this earthly son, and bless him and his family with the joy of wholeness and renewed strength. Bless and guide the medical personnel who are working with him, and direct their hands and hearts to act according to Your riches in Glory. We surround this family with the light of Your love, and speak peace to them in this time of distress, in the Name of the One who holds, heals and empowers us--Jesus Christ. Amen.

Friday Scriptue and Comment: June 28
Each of us will render an account for himself to God.—Rom. 14:12.
After baptism, we want to continue living up to our dedication in
faithful service to God. There is no
way to undo a dedication vow, taking back what we promised God. If
a person tires of serving Jehovah
or of living a Christian way of life,
he cannot claim that he was never really dedicated and that his baptism was invalid. To all intents and
purposes, he presented himself as
one who was wholly dedicated to
God. He will be accountable before
Jehovah and the congregation for
any serious sins that he may commit. May it never be said of us that
‘we left the love we had at first.’ Instead, we want Jesus to be able to
say of us: “I know your deeds, and
your love and faith and ministry
and endurance, and that your deeds
of late are more than those you did
at first.” (Rev. 2:4, 19) May we zealously continue to live up to our dedication vow—to Jehovah’s delight.

@Cowboy, While I can almost completely agree, I have to ask this question. Where do you stand concerning predestination? If you are saying that a believer can sin wantonly with no conscience, then I would say that person was never saved to begin with but for whatever reason just played at being a Christian.

2019-06-28 20:46:08 UTC

@Shadetree49 As predestination goes, I don't believe once saved always saved, it all depends on your works. What the comment was refering to is once you dedicate your life and get baptized, it is basicly the beginning of your faithfulness to God. Then it really depends on your works and your indurance in serving God Jehovah. If later in life you sin, you can repent and earn your way back to God, as he remembers all that we do, good and bad, but he can forgive as long as you repented and remain in good standing with our God. Thank you for you question, it's always good to have a biblical conversation.

2019-06-28 21:01:36 UTC

Biblical Back-up: (James 2:24-26 24) You see that a man is to be declared righteous by works and not by faith alone. 25) In the same manner, was not Raʹhab the prostitute also declared righteous by works after she received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way? 26) Indeed, just as the body without spirit* is dead, so also faith without works is dead. Footnote: * or Breath @Shadetree49

2019-06-28 21:13:51 UTC

Another referance: (James 2: 14-17) 14) Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it? 15) If any brothers or sisters are lacking clothing and enough food for the day, 16) yet one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but you do not give them what they need for their body, of what benefit is it? 17) So, too, faith by itself, without works, is dead.

@Shadetree49 I hope I answered your questions, if not let me know and I will try to cover it. Thanks again,

You did well my brother I know that God keeps me more than I keep Him and if I do keep Him it's because He gives me the wisdom and strength to do so. I love Him because He first loved me.

Ephesians 4: 1-4 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called. With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling.

The Rock, perfect is his activity, for all his ways are justice. —Deut. 32:4.
“Will the Judge of all the earth
not do what is right?” (Gen. 18:25)
With that question, Abraham expressed confidence that Jehovah
would render perfect justice in
the case of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Abraham was convinced that Jehovah would never act unjustly by
“putting the righteous man to death
with the wicked one.” Such an act
was “unthinkable” to Abraham. He
could express such confidence because Jehovah is the greatest example of justice and righteousness.
In fact, the Hebrew words rendered
“justice” and “righteousness” often appear together in the Hebrew
Scriptures. Basically, there is no
distinction between what is just
and what is right. Logically, since
Jehovah is the ultimate standard of
righteousness, his view of matters
will always be just. Further, according to his own written Word, “he
loves righteousness and justice.”

God, Author and Finisher of our faith, there are times when we are so tempted to cry out for the happy ending of the story! There are times when we are so enveloped by the sadness and brokenness of this world that we can nearly forget that You made the universe for good! In sorrow we lift up the extended family of @LightBe777 , where there has lately been so much loss and sorrow. We imagine them crying out with Job, "Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God’s intimate friendship blessed my house, when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me, when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil. " The sorrow is real and deep, and we feel it with this family. We appeal to Yeshua to reach out with the hand of wholeness and touch this entire family. We pray that You will wipe away their tears and clear their vision to see the blessings You have in store for them. In this time particularly, we ask You to wrap Your loving arms around them and give them peace, comfort and rest. We turn our hopes to Yeshua's words, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." We pray in the Name of the One who is, indeed , our Comforter--Jesus Christ. Amen.
