Here is a message I got through a dream a couple months ago. Before be I asked the Lord for some wisdom. He told me this: "To know the grace of God is taken by seasons (Isa 28: 9-13) and is truly the only thing that separates or unites us".

I seem to have fallen off

This morning I am contemplating the nature of a persons relationship to god. First of all, do you know God? Not just about God . Do you have a personal relationship with Him? Is it possible to worship the god of your imagination rather than the one true God. How do you know the difference? Is it by a feeling? Is it by head knowledge? Is it because it's what your family believes? All these things can lead to an understanding of God but I believe that the relationship you have with God starts with God Himself. If He hasn't planted the seed in your heart it can not grow. In the parable of the sower Jesus talks about the many types of ground that the seed falls upon. Is your heart receptive to the Word?

Romans 8: 28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." While thinking about this and walking my dog a couple days ago, I noticed an interesting sight. There is a plant that grows here called Wormwood. (Interestingly the Russian name is Chernobyl) It is somewhat noxious and smells like creosote. Since it is spring the plant I was looking had some new growth. Thi

e interesting thing was the large aphid farm on it with ants busily tending their aphid cows. Even that noxious plant was useful to some of Gods creatures.

God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." Did you notice that spirit comes before truth? Without the spirit you cannot understand truth.

Neither David or Solomon was able to do the above completely. David, at least had a heart for God and repented when his sin was pointed out. Solomon fell off hard at the end.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

That's why God himself had to come in the person of Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sin.

Today I had to stop in at the hospital for an EKG as part of the process to get back surgery. I was supposed to get it done last Thursday along with the other tests but somehow I missed it. Today, for the test, they put me in a room with someone else. The curtains were drawn so I didn't see who it was. When my test was finished the fellow on the other side of the curtain said, "Walt, is that you?" I realized it was my old friend Gus. Around the curtain I went and saw him lying at deaths door. I asked him if I could pray for him and he gladly accepted. He was truly worried about his final destination. We prayed for his salvation and healing. If I hadn't had to come back for that EKG today I might have missed out on a wonderful opportunity.

The fact that you are regaining your senses should tell you that God is working in your life. If He is working in your life, He can also work in the lives of your children, Trust God through Jesus Christ. He wants the best for you an your children. Remember how he hardened Pharaohs heart and softened others. Aside from Gods love for us, there is no stronger love than that of a mother for her children. God bless you. @Cowboy, While I can almost completely agree, I have to ask this question. Where do you stand concerning predestination? If you are saying that a believer can sin wantonly with no conscience, then I would say that person was never saved to begin with but for whatever reason just played at being a Christian.

You did well my brother I know that God keeps me more than I keep Him and if I do keep Him it's because He gives me the wisdom and strength to do so. I love Him because He first loved me.

I noticed a passage in Revelation 12: 17 that is very striking. "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Thes 4: 16, 17 - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." A good national leader is a wonderful thing. Just don't forget who our real Savior is.

Psalm 138: 6-8 "Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud e knows afar off. @Cowboy, I've always been intrigued by that scripture. How does one "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord"? Since all our "righteous "works are as filthy rags before the Lord. it has, in my opinion, more to do with the condition of the heart through prayer and supplication by the Holy Spirit; till we come to the end of ourselves and give it all over to God, fully trusting that the FULL price was paid at Calvary. I think further that once we come to that realization, we could never dream of doing anything contrary to His will but that if we do slip and fall He is ready to pick us up, dust us off and set us back on the road to His righteousness.

"And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where will the sinner and the ungodly appear?" - Those who know better than to do it and go ahead and do it anyhow. Gods Spirit will not always strive with man.

I believe God, in His righteousness, gives every man, woman or child, some where along the line, a chance to come to know Him. Don't waste that chance when it comes along.

Do you understand the meaning of the word 'repentance'? It doesn't just mean being sorry for your sins, although that's part of it. It literally infers a 180 degree turn away from them, leaving them in the dust. When God throws them into the sea of His forgetfulness, we are not to go fishing them back out again. I assure you, however, that Satans job is to do just that. He will lay them in your path, accuse you of wanting them etc. Don't fall for it.

@patriotlady5 The joy of the Lord is my strength. How could I have joy or strength if I was burdened with unrepented sin. I choose to live, with as much as lies within me, in His light. When a river of living water is flowing through , how can I be silent?

Reading II Kings chapters 22,23 this morning concerning King Josiah; how a scroll of The Law was found and read before him. King Josiah repented for himself and for the nation, eventually causing a great consecration, with removal of offensive idols, groves priests and Sodomites. Nevertheless, God spoke through the prophetess Huldah: "Thus sayeth the Lord, 'Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all all the words of the book which the King of Judah hath read.

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place and shall not be quenched.

But to the King of Judah that sent you to inquire of The Lord, thus shall you say to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, as touching the words which thou has heard.

Because thine heart was tender and thou has humbled thyself before The Lord, when thou heard what I spoke against this place and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and has rent thy clothes and wept before me. I also have heard the saith The Lord.

Behold I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shall be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thy eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place.

Has America, under Trump, come, like Judah, to late to repent? Is there still time to fall on our faces and repent in sackcloth and ashes? God knows.

Prayers please - The things coming out about child abuse/sacrifice have me in an emotional stew. On one hand I want to hide somewhere and on the other I want to get severe revenge on any deepstate creep I can find. I am afraid of myself. I know that God is in control ad mindful of what y family and I had to go through.

Several months ago, before going to bed one night, I asked the Lord for a word of wisdom. I woke up in the middle of the night with His words in my head. I have a question that many of you might not like. If you won't watch a movie that has risky sexual content (assuming that's true), why would you subject yourself to a movie you think has occult symbolism? Are you testing the Lord?

There is an old song from the 30s or 40s. It has this line in it; "you've got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and don't mess with mister in between." The Lords prayer says; "lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil." Why then would you stick your nose into that evil?

Q said that it's your choice to know. So I guess you're free to look if you want to. I think we are bombarded with so much without going looking that it's not necessary to go digging it up.
