Another sermon segment - I said, "What is it brother?" And he said, "Here is what you said," and it's true, "The minority, how a little group is going to be saved in the days of Coming." And we talked of how Jesus said, "Strait is the gate and narrow is the way, and but few there'll be that'll find it." Now notice, the Bible said, "As it was in the days of Noah, wherein eight souls were saved by water, so shall it be in the Coming."

2019-07-08 05:27:30 UTC

I said, "Brother you just got half the picture."

Yet, Noah was a type of the remnant that's carried over, not the translated bunch. Enoch, one man went in the rapture before the flood came, showing that the Bride does not go into the tribulation or anything around it. Enoch was translated, one man.

Where are you texten, lol @Sara

Jesus
said: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and
pick up his torture stake and keep
following me.” (Matt. 16:24) Clearly, discipleship—including dedication and baptism—is an obligation
for you as a Christian. Yet, it opens
the door to countless blessings now
and to everlasting life in God’s new
world. You have every reason, then,
to keep working out your own salvation!

@Cowboy, I've always been intrigued by that scripture. How does one "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord"? Since all our "righteous "works are as filthy rags before the Lord. it has, in my opinion, more to do with the condition of the heart through prayer and supplication by the Holy Spirit; till we come to the end of ourselves and give it all over to God, fully trusting that the FULL price was paid at Calvary. I think further that once we come to that realization, we could never dream of doing anything contrary to His will but that if we do slip and fall He is ready to pick us up, dust us off and set us back on the road to His righteousness.

Then Jesus said to his disciples: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself* and pick up his torture stake and keep following me.
* let him disown himself: Or “let him give up all right to himself.” This indicates a person’s willingness to deny himself utterly or to relinquish ownership of himself to God. The Greek phrase can be rendered “he must say no to himself,” which is fitting because it may involve saying no to personal desires, ambitions, or convenience. (2Co 5:14, 15) The same Greek verb is used by Matthew when describing Peter’s denial that he knew Jesus.—Mt 26:34, 35, 75. Another good Scripture to read about this and refrance from is Philippians 2: 1-30 @Shadetree49

@Deb65 A lot of story's wether pain, mental, physical, or any other problems that you may have. Sometimes do not show, or the person doesn't allow it to be seen, and if you don't share your story no one will know. So PLEASE share your story's with others, so it can be a SURVIVAL GUIDE to someone, and help those that need YOUR words of wisdom!

Tuesday Scripture w/Comment: Clothe yourselves with . . . patience.
—Col. 3:12.
With patient teaching from their
parents, children will be able gradually to begin to grasp “the breadth
and length and height and depth” of
faith. (Eph. 3:18) We can look for
what is appropriate to their age and
ability. As they become convinced
of whatthey learn, they will increasingly be able to defend their beliefs
before others, including schoolmates. (1 Pet. 3:15) For example, can
your children explain from the Bible
what happens at death? Does the Bible’s explanation make sense to
them? Yes, inculcating God’s Word
in your child will require patience,
but it is worth the effort. (Deut. 6:
6, 7) Of course, your example is also
important when it comes to building
conviction. Stephanie, the mother
of three daughters, says: “I ask myself, ‘Do I talk to my children about
why I am convinced of Jehovah’s existence, his love, and the rightness
of his ways?’ I can’t expect my children to be persuaded unless I am.”

@wheredowegofromhereQ Check out Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof impart wisdom, But a child left unrestrained brings shame on his mother. We all need correction when we are not inline with God, but a little discipline goes along way.

"And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where will the sinner and the ungodly appear?" - Those who know better than to do it and go ahead and do it anyhow. Gods Spirit will not always strive with man.
