No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Just a few short months after we stopped a SNEAK gun confiscation legislation being pushed through Congress, Congressman John Katko (R-NY) is now trying to do the EXACT SAME THING!
Katko is planning to quietly introduce so-called "red flag"gun legislation in a MATTER OF DAYS that will not only push states to enact gun control laws but use your hard-earned federal tax dollars to subsidize the effort!
And as with previous attempts in Congress, if you're looking for a bill number so you can research just what this legislation says, FORGET IT! As things now stand, Katko announced plans to introduce the legislation some days back at a local town hall meeting. He plans to introduce the bill quietly and railroad it through Congress before anyone catches on.
What we do know is that significant pressure is being put on other Republicans to support Katko's efforts, and everyone anticipates massive Democrat support when Katko quietly introduces the bill in a matter of days.
