if you could hear them while not being in their channel, then either you had them on in the backround browser stream.
or your discord was glitched.,
do you run discord in the browser? id suggesting downloading the desktop app, it runs much better

@Kujaabi how odd i dont know why that would happen, never had that issue myself, and windows is all ive ever used and ive used discord since it was invented years ago.
have a browse through @Nothing's link above see if those solutions are any help.
@wave_E_One every submission into any text channel gives your discord account points, the more points you get the higher your rank, so, to rank up just contribute to the text channels either with discussion or providing links and sauce. either way.
level 1 = rank E1 'PVT' allows you access to the callin show channel, to go on the stream.
level 18 = rank E-5 'SGT' allowsyou access to the sgt channel, which is just another discussion channel for only sgt's and above (rank 5)
level 41 = rank W-1 'WO1' another discussion channel
level 56 = rank O-1 '2LT' another discussion channel
level 95 = rank 0-10 'GEN' the most exclusive discussion channel (its always empty lol)
