otherwise you can leave text channels open it wont matter there. but if your keyboard is gonna having cats walking on it then maybe close discord first. lol

Hi, been trying for months to get in here. Poor connection have kept me from moving forward. For a while all I would get is a black screen once I entered. Never could go further. Very excited to view other groups. Can you tell if I have done everything I am suppose to do to continue?

@Cowboy you can join the voice channels without a headset, you only need speakers to listen,
and if you want to speak then youll also need a mic plugged in.

if your mic and speakers cause any echoing as can sometimes occur with that setup, then you will want to switch to headset to fix that, but that may not be neccesssary.


i use mic and speakers, i dont cause any echo so long as im carefull with my push to talk.

push to talk is a voice setting that should be enabled especialy if using speakers instead of a headset.

if they arent in our discord there then youll have to find them elsewhere.
reddit for example is a website that has no affiliation with us or discord.

I can use Discord on my iPhone and I had gained rank. I've had to start over on my laptop. I don't care about my rank, I just want to contribute no matter how many times it takes. There are just some things that help can't help with. I need to figure it out myself and I will!! I am setting up a new desktop today and get off this laptop.
