however the grounds on which the APA and generally major institutions promoted "born this way" were simply on retarded science

2018-09-16 21:31:47 UTC

rage is normal lol

2018-09-16 21:32:35 UTC

@killsometime No, it's more about not normalizing something, which is the point people miss.

"BUT IT WILL STILL HAPPEN"

The aim is not to eliminate it completely, the aim is to reduce it

2018-09-16 21:33:04 UTC

Because that always works

2018-09-16 21:33:08 UTC

🤦

2018-09-16 21:33:12 UTC

Same

2018-09-16 21:33:13 UTC

@killsometime No, marriage is between man and woman with the goal of creating and raising healthy members of society, who will continue the cycle. Marriage is exclusive in its ability to produce life. Homosexuals simply arent monogamous most of the time and often cheat in their marriages to a ludicrous degree. As razorlaze says normalization is harmful. Adoption follows the trend.

2018-09-16 21:33:19 UTC

Okay, here's an example: Prostitution @killsometime

2018-09-16 21:33:24 UTC

^

2018-09-16 21:33:29 UTC

We still have prostitution despite it being illegal

2018-09-16 21:33:35 UTC

As is to be expected

2018-09-16 21:33:44 UTC

You will never eliminate something 100%

2018-09-16 21:33:56 UTC

and if it were legal there'd be much more

2018-09-16 21:33:58 UTC

But what criminalizing it has done, is it has significantly reduced the spread of it

2018-09-16 21:34:04 UTC

or the occurrence of it

2018-09-16 21:34:18 UTC

But you aren’t criminalizing gay sex

2018-09-16 21:34:25 UTC

That’s not what you said

2018-09-16 21:34:34 UTC

You said gay marriage and adoption

2018-09-16 21:34:41 UTC

It's part of a wide range of discussion

2018-09-16 21:34:53 UTC

I would go the Russian route where all public displays of homosexuality are forbidden

2018-09-16 21:34:56 UTC

marriage doesn't have a set purpose in a secular society

2018-09-16 21:35:02 UTC

but wouldnt do anything in private

2018-09-16 21:35:08 UTC

Because it's redundant to go that far

2018-09-16 21:35:22 UTC

^

2018-09-16 21:35:35 UTC

@21tagtmeiern it used to

2018-09-16 21:35:46 UTC

but now it's little more than an economic union

2018-09-16 21:35:55 UTC

yeah well idc

2018-09-16 21:36:03 UTC

yeah well, you will when you get divorced

2018-09-16 21:36:07 UTC

banning it in privacy would just mean people would do it privately anyways except they'd be more careful

2018-09-16 21:36:11 UTC

2018-09-16 21:36:25 UTC

ok look i'm debated out this weekend i'll talk about this tomorrow

2018-09-16 21:36:43 UTC

I’m a libertarian. Anytime the government walks into someone’s life and tells them what they are supposed to do in their private life is seen as negative. It isn’t the job of the government to forbid any consenting relationship of any kind. Its also not the responsibility of the government to pay for your treatment cause you’re sick with an STD.

2018-09-16 21:37:02 UTC

Libertarianism is gay

2018-09-16 21:37:08 UTC

🤷‍♂️

2018-09-16 21:37:11 UTC

so I see the connection

2018-09-16 21:37:12 UTC

Tough shit then

2018-09-16 21:37:24 UTC

Do you like Pinochet @killsometime

2018-09-16 21:38:11 UTC

Pinochet is a discount Franco really

2018-09-16 21:38:15 UTC

*shit

2018-09-16 21:38:16 UTC

All I know about him is free helicopter rides

2018-09-16 21:38:28 UTC

Libertarians are the creationists of economics
