I know this wasn't the question but I would rather our budget to go to improving the country itself. like it's meant to. Like better funding for civil services, healthcare options and improving the roads and schools.

The problem with welfare (at least in America) is that you're punished for actually getting a job, because in a lot of cases your effective income will be diminished
