Democracy: everyone is equal and has a say in the running of society for everyone else.
Classical republic: understanding that people have a say but it is only select groups with investment in the system, and there is a natural hierarchy of authority.

Democracy serves the interest of the least amount of people in society. Monarchies are preferable. At least a monarch has a sense of ownership of the nation, and duty to it.

The Founding Fathers knew that Direct Democracy was flawed, hence they created the Electoral College. That way Mob Rule wasn't the main driving force of political decisions within the country

Foreign influence is nearly non-existent except in the deluded minds of the left. The damage that mass media has inflicted upon the population cannot be overstated. Visual media has induced spiritual (in the widest sense) corruption upon Americans, and this is our chief export, so to the world as well. To say that the foreign element has any tangible influence is an outright denial of reality, and a creation then of a false reality.

Domestic influence is far more of a danger in a "Democratic" environment. I would say this because there is already some level of trust there by the people of a Nation to a well-known company, or brand.

Unless we're talking major subterfuge by mass immigrants to sway the tide of a race in their favour.
