Polygraph tests are just a fear tactic. They do absolutely nothing to add credibility to a case, they only try to discredit, and the side that uses it if they do not get a favourable result they hide the results.

@ham addition polygraph tests have been proven and is under scientific consensus that they are nothing more than shams, you cannot measure truth and lie. It's been proven if you act calm you can pass a polygraph even if you are lying
