i think that the alt-right as we know it today is propped up as the face of the "new right" on purpose. it's an easy target to oversimplify, categorize, and hand-wave

The Alt Right pre 2017 wasn't as big and had people like Ann Coulter, Jared Taylor, Millennial Woes, Walt Bismarck and a ton of other people

I remember when it was small and obscure. It was a gold mine of ideas never talked before at such length. This is the best example of the class, pragmatism yet at the same time idealism that had a singular goal: Destroy the National Review, Conservative Think Tank wing of the Right.
