OOF
It's possible. You can implement it....your country just won't last very long.
OOOOOOfof
no
nope
because not all jobs have the same responsibilities
This sort of mindset results in a number of lost businesses and less open job positions because each business would have to meet a threshold for each employee they take on.
oil rig workers shouldn't be paid the same as burgerflippers
if a system was implemented in a highly advanced tech state
No... there is always work to be done. People can be put to work doing almost anything on behalf of the nation
where every person manages to benefit the nation with every action
then yes
a very small UBI
would be beneficial
however
If social security is inevitable then yes as it's cheaper in costs due to less administrative work. Though the downside is that drug addicts and the like will have access to it
Eg if a living wage is £22k a year
It would be a good idea, if not for the fact that the left will ruin it, make it way too high, and destroy the incentive to find work and actually put value to the currency of UBI
then the UBI should be £5K a year
meaning peeps still need to work
but its a way to make them value hte government
eg in their minds its free money
UBI would only be realistic in a hyper-automated society where robots do most of the work
But the economy would have to be surplus based
A right winger reforming social security to give everyone enough to live on would be a fine idea, better than the welfare state as it currently exists now, but it just won't be handled well
and not debt based as it is today
eg
in a debt based economy
all money must be sppent
but in a surplus based
