@Swiss Cheese yesterday you said that Bolsonaro confiscated anti-fascist stuff from universities... well, no he didn't, he hasn't got into office yet, and he wasn't even elected when that happened... that material was removed because it was considered political propaganda, and that's illegal during election period on public colleges (even, though is hardly ever enforced... and maybe that's one of the reasons why people freaked out, because for once they were forced to follow the law). The reason why "pro-democracy" and "anti-fascist" material (posters, banners, etc) were considered political propaganda was because the same material was, at the same time, characterizing a candidate (Bolsonaro) as anti-democratic and a fascist...

2018-11-07 00:21:15 UTC

@Enigmatic★Chromatic The black circle is usually where most fascists I see score

2018-11-07 00:21:29 UTC

Fascistball scores in that exact area

The tests for the compass always suck

2018-11-07 00:22:33 UTC

I use it as a visual aid, not because the compass is necessarily great or that the tests are accurate in anyway

2018-11-07 00:22:43 UTC

But it helps people pick up what I'm putting down

2018-11-07 01:51:16 UTC

2018-11-07 06:33:19 UTC

2018-11-07 06:34:35 UTC

Female won in NY, really nice though

2018-11-07 12:05:53 UTC

Senate is more important than the house IMO

2018-11-07 12:06:19 UTC

anything the house passes, the senate has to ratify, and if the republicans control it, in the end they control what is implemented

Im sorry but if the political axis is based on symbology (which changes with each interpretation) or is a combined economic and social axis then it can be horribly skewed. The axis presented of capitalism vs marxism literally means anything that is not marxist or communist ends up right wing, which makes things that are not fascist or extreme, fascist and extreme. it seems like a purposeful redefinition in order to demonize anyone who is not a communist.

Rather the axis that takes into account social and economic policies and perspectives is more accurate and fair. Additionally if we take into acount political policies we can create an interesting triangle.

Generally speaking monarchy and feudalism is strange because for example in the medieval period even though the monarch owned the land, or rather what would be considered the commonwealth, he did not "own" the means of production and neither did the nobles. They rather collected a tax from all goods produced however those goods were still in the hands of the people using them. Could it be unjustly ocnfiscated? Yes. Could the king or noble be killed for it? Yes.

2018-11-07 13:44:01 UTC

Power does necessarily come with wealth, however any hirarchy will produce this. This is an inevitable result of any system that produces any hirarchy, and if there is any means of exchange at all. However someone must always own the means of production and not everyone can own the means of production, we can however only reduce how much of the means of production is owned by say any private person, however this wont solve inequality as it simply passes these means between people. Rather than limiting aqquiring the means of production it is much more reaosonable to restrict the maximum amount as well as level of extortion that such a private individual can exert over other individuals. So in some ways Marx is correct, in others completely wrong. However I can never accept a political compass that pits an ideology and everything based on that ideologies economic axis, or rather symbolic interpretation. Hell itll make almost everything capitalist and evil. Which explains why AntiFa and other communist brown shirts are so adament about punching a nazi, or killing the capitalist. (YEs AntiFa does actively try to kill people, hurt people, often innocent people. They are literally a communist terrorist org)

2018-11-07 13:44:33 UTC

@Trapper Do you mean Warren? in WA again? Shes making that place into an asian mexican colony.

2018-11-07 14:12:00 UTC

That's nice but I include a lot of non-marxist stuff as left wing, so you kind of made a false assumption at the start of your point which kind of disproves the rest of what you said since it's based in that assumption

2018-11-07 14:12:11 UTC

I appreciate you writing all that though

2018-11-07 14:13:39 UTC

Honestly I really wish Antifa was half as cool as you portray it

2018-11-07 14:13:51 UTC

But antifa isn't an organization anyways so you're wrong on that bit
