I would require people to hit a certain level on the SAT because it would both screen foreign language and it correlates highly with IQ for people who do speak english

SAT is a good IQ test

it’s also an established test

correlates very well

the issue is you can study for it

so that's really what skews it

I ofcourse did well on my ACT yeah

But that’s more on how much you prep

but I didn't have the ACT prep courses my fellow students did

I still got in the top 85%

There are certain tricks to those tests

with no studying

but no one ever taught me how to take it

I'm sure if I studied I could have gotten 99th

The nice thing about IQ tests is they're purposely made difficult to study for

and no one studies for them
