what do liberals believe in?

Liberals are for:

Peace and diplomacy when it comes to foreign relations.

Protecting the environment from pollution and destruction. Having regulations that keep people and animals safe from being poisoned by chemicals in our water , air and land and oil spills by reckless and greedy corporations.

Liberals believe that health care is a human right and people should not have to die because of greedy insurance companies. Liberals are for universal health care.

Liberals believe that the government should help the people, and provide programs that provide assistance to those who are struggling to survive. The government has an obligation to care for its people, and provide housing for the homeless, food for the hungry, education and healthcare if it is to be considered a civilized country, and they want their tax money to go to the people and not into the pockets of greedy and corrupt politicians. This is the opposite of what Republicans stand for.

Liberals are against discrimination and segregation. Liberals believe in everyone being treated with respect and decency, and having the same rights no matter what their religion, race, gender, skin color, or whether they are gay or straight.

Liberals are in favor of animal protection and anti abuse laws.

Liberals believe that immigration is a good thing because we are all descendants of immigrants, and immigration is what this country was founded on. Immigrants bring many talents and good workers to this country.

Liberals believe that the people of the USA have the right to live without fear of constant gun violence and mass shootings. Liberals are for common sense regulation of guns like most other civilized non third world countries have.

Liberals are for fair elections and everyone being equally allowed to vote without hinderance.

Liberals are AGAINST the death penalty.

Liberals are AGAINST facism, authoritarianism, and hate groups.

Personally, I oppose the liberal beliefs on the matters of immigration, emigration and about the LGTB rights.

I don't think that immigration is good.

the issue is that those "liberal things" arent taken to any logical norm, they tend to really be radical in those quests, and often the idea of helping the people means bringing everyone down. Liberals rather than creating an economy or model that works would rather tear everyone down to the same level with those points listed. the idea of "not gredy politicians" really doesnt pan out in 99% of liberal cases.

generally the idea of helping the poor etc. isnt just helping the poor its literally based on raising htem out of poverty with no effort from themselves.
