Lol, when it comes to politics I'm in the top 1% of understanding. I've been watching political coverage every week since I was 14 fucking years old. But political novice like you think that you actually have an understanding because of the fact you pay attention once every 2 or 4 years. Yeah keep dreaming. Bernie could easily come out and say that having the debate during the fucking NCAA finals limit exposure to the American people, and that as a true believer in democracy he feels that the American people should be given the best chance to hear the information necessary for them making their democratic decision. And that he doesn't know why Hillary Clinton doesn't want to make the time to reach a large national audience to inform them about what she wants to do for the county. And why she would purposely choose the date that forces the American people to make a choice between watching the final game of the series they've been watching all month, and informing themselves on the difference between the Democratic candidates? Yeah, I guess politics shouldn't be commented on by people who have no fucking idea what they are talking about.
They don't understand how to argue.
They're used to the idea that they should be right by virtue of their position in society or the position of some 'expert' they heard about.
So they can't break down the different aspects of what makes a comment funny or interesting because they get too offended by the notion that someone doesn't agree with them nor thinks that the experts they are referring to are respectable.
And by experts I mean people like Bill Nye, CNN, NYT, and so on, the people or groups that are respected by people on the left purely because they have some reputation of supposedly being respected.
So the most they can do is try and look at where comments/ideas are coming and going, while not being able to understand the underlying meaning behind the comments.
Part of their problem is that this worship of experts has led to a hierarchy that disallows understanding outside forces. Decentralized groups such as those that form on imageboards, twitter, or wherever else, become impossible for them to understand because they have no frame of reference due to never considering it necessary to consider things from an outside point of view.
I can't fucking believe these people put the Confederate Flag on a level with the Nazi Flag. Cannot fucking believe it. Lincoln played Dixie on the WH lawn after Lee surrendered. Lee is considered one of the greatest American generals of all time and was a profoundly decent human being whose racial attitudes were quite progressive for his day. Unlike Lincoln, he saw slaves as human beings...not pawns on a chessboard to be used as a tool to quell a rebellion. Confederate dead are honored (for now) and memorialized in our public spaces (for now.) Approximately half of our own nation - kind and Godly men - were willing to lay down their lives for Dixie, to kill their own brothers in the snow, half starving and rheumatoid, plagued with typhus and covered in lice...for what? Because DEY WUZ RAYCIS!? Are you fucking kidding me? Not to live up to the stereotype they give us, but what was that quote about the "Jew cries out as he strikes you"? That is exactly what Vice and their ilk are doing, to a T. Notice how the author tacitly acknowledge that they have the power to completely silence our voices online. We have to use their platforms to discuss our ideas with like minded people because they own every single platform. We gather in small numbers, by the hundreds or sometimes the thousands on a small, dark corner of the internet - which so recently seemed to hold the promise of ending censorship forever - and still they seek to drive us out. And the propaganda rags like Vice cheer them on. It's the exact same reason they remove the Confederate monuments and call us Nazis...because they hate us. All while accusing us of hate. These people...they have interwoven a victim complex so deeply within the fabric of their being, that they no longer realize the plain truth of the matter. They were never the victims. They are the oppressors. TL;DR Democrats are the real racists.

'm a Native American from a small tribe of barely 2,000 souls in South Carolina. You don't speak for me.
America is the greatest country on earth. I, like most every other kid in my generation, grew up eating cereal in my Underoos while watching Saturday morning cartoons. My family was dirt poor for most of my childhood. We usually didn't even have cable and there were some times where we had to spend all day hunting just to have something to eat at all when it got rough because there was no work.
But we had opportunity.
My parents moved so my father could work steel in Ohio. I went to school and got a trade. I spent a good many years working trade with the Amish and contractors til I went into business for myself. I took out a loan and spent many sleepless nights wondering if I was going to make it.
Today I run a small business of 9 other souls and we're doing very well. I'm very well off and enjoying my life. I just bought my parents a new house that's very fine for them to grow old in not far from me.
America is a land of opportunity where the only thing stopping you is YOU. If you don't like it, leave it, but just know that you failed because of YOU. In America, no one is standing on your neck and no one owes you or me a damned thing. We all have our own problems and pretending like you're the only one who struggles is disgusting and disrespectful and un-American.
So grow up and put on your big girl pants and take a look at yourself. If you want to keep failing, leave my country.
