China built their new aircraft carrier and by the time it was finished it was already obsolete

2018-12-12 18:28:57 UTC

that's a very linear way of seeing things

2018-12-12 18:29:06 UTC

china is gaining lot's of new allies and friends

2018-12-12 18:29:08 UTC

@sɪᴅɪsɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴇ it's not a bad thing Obama did, it's a bad thing his administration did

2018-12-12 18:29:20 UTC

due to it's belt and road initiative and investments around the world

2018-12-12 18:29:31 UTC

We're talking about Obunga only

2018-12-12 18:29:52 UTC

yes Obama was involved

2018-12-12 18:29:55 UTC

hence why his admin did it

2018-12-12 18:29:55 UTC

If there is no evidence of his role in this we can't link him to it

2018-12-12 18:30:05 UTC

@Similar Scowl And US has many allies too

2018-12-12 18:30:15 UTC

not as much as before

2018-12-12 18:30:19 UTC

military wise China is very inferior

2018-12-12 18:30:23 UTC

How not as much as before?

2018-12-12 18:30:30 UTC

@Lola he leads the administration

2018-12-12 18:30:35 UTC

he's always behind this

2018-12-12 18:30:39 UTC

many countries are now turning to china for trade deals and investments

2018-12-12 18:30:42 UTC

the admin doesn't act on his own

2018-12-12 18:30:47 UTC

Fact check

2018-12-12 18:30:48 UTC

mainly in Africa and the middle east

2018-12-12 18:31:08 UTC

yes and those countries do not have relevant militaries

2018-12-12 18:31:14 UTC

As long as there is no evidence you can't claim that he did it

2018-12-12 18:31:17 UTC

and it depends what countries in the middle east

2018-12-12 18:31:23 UTC

@Lola thats like saying Bush didn't go to war

2018-12-12 18:31:27 UTC

it was his AdMiN

2018-12-12 18:32:30 UTC

China's strategy is just much more appealing

2018-12-12 18:32:50 UTC

they are doing to africa and the middle east what the US did to europe after ww2

2018-12-12 18:33:10 UTC

but i'd argue even better, because they are essentially not losing anything

2018-12-12 18:33:23 UTC

2018-12-12 18:33:31 UTC

Again China's military is incompetent

2018-12-12 18:33:41 UTC

it's not about military dude

2018-12-12 18:33:43 UTC

their allies aren't very competent too

2018-12-12 18:33:46 UTC

then what is it about?

2018-12-12 18:33:54 UTC

it's about soft power and economic leverage

2018-12-12 18:33:56 UTC

I know most people would side with a free nation of an authoritarian one

2018-12-12 18:34:08 UTC

thats not at all like that lol

2018-12-12 18:34:12 UTC

So how would that take US' place?

2018-12-12 18:35:06 UTC

@sɪᴅɪsɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴇ it's very unlikely but the administration still could've passed it without Obama knowing

2018-12-12 18:35:51 UTC

these countries like ethiopia, Iran, Pakistan, etc which have very strategic value in Geopolitics, find it much more valueable to side with a country that invests in their economy than to side with a country that has a recent history of invading whoever doesnt side with them
