Lmao
I am serious. Are you not wary of nationalism constantly being watered down particularly by pro-Israelis?
We need to be more ideological as in the past.
Defeat does not kill the idea. In fact now that the idea is resurfacing only reinforces it in the first place. No matter how many times the Marxists or Liberals defeat us they cannot solve the great problems of our time.
Of course it's a cause for concern, but it's not something I can personally do a whole lot about as someone who isn't a Spanish citizen
What are you?
Born in the UK
Ahhh why did you move there?
Grandma was moved during the WW2
I was wondering why I found you so relatable.
Wait so you're ethnic Spaniard with UK citizenship living in Spain?
And they decided to move back to the UK since she had a right to citizenship during the Franco era
I live in the UK at the moment, though hope to move to Spain
Oh okay. Is that who you associate with?
On some level yeah, but I find a lot more in common with my family in Spain
England has major problems, particularly in regards to religious matters, but out of chaos rises order as you know.
I have a lot less hope for England
We have major potential if we were to start taking agriculture more seriously.
I know you do. Everyone does.
But I promise you I shall not leave this world until my dream has been achieved.
I shall not allow my nation to fall.
You'll be welcome to visit when victory has been achieved.
A new national flag is needed though. The flag of St George is foreign to us, unbeknownst to many.
I've got it all mapped out. Don't worry.
Lmao
Okay
@Deleted User I will be honest though. Religion is a tough one for me. I was raised in a Protestant home, some of my family were non-conformists, I.e militant Puritans. Catholicism often comes across as too foreign, too superstitious in my perceptions. You know the Latin-type countries and I've met some really terrible "Catholics" especially Irish who are literally just savage dogs. I have seen how Rome have overly interfered in our affairs and made attacks against our own people in history. There is a sort of chasm between the Nordic and the Med.
But then there are other times where I must say Catholic women were more impressive to me than a lot of the whores calling themselves Prots or whatever.
However, again I see a lot of Catholicism placing too much emphasis on Aristotle and Aquinas who I think to make some very bad points. And then there is the monarchical path and I must say I'm more inclined to favour the Orthodox conciliar approach.
Super conflicted at present. @Deleted User
The protestant Irish are the same, that's nothing to do with the fact that they are Catholic
You're no idea how many LGBT Irish Catholics I have met.
Protestantism, besides going against Biblical teachings, has always had too little impact on the morality of it's populations, and serves more as an excuse than a way of life
The modern day Catholic Church has become corrupt, that is true, but that's not a fault with the Religion itself, and more the fact it was a large target for certain groups due to the influence it can have over places such as Spain
I certainly see how Protestantism has totally disregarded religion. We were simple farmers, but allowing people to interpret religion has wrought anarchy.
Mediteranians who follow Catholicism and even Eastern Orthodoxy tend to take their religion a lot more seriously, and it shows in the culture
That's why you need Papal guidance
I still think Orthodoxy may be a better path for English though.
Some of their criticisms of Roman Catholicism do appeal to me.
Having a figurehead who is closer to God, and can serve as an inspiration can only bring about good
