I need to find something new to do

Hobbies are important. They can be frustrating because sometimes they feel like another commitment you are having trouble keeping up with, but you just gotta take it at your own pace.

Well, I've always been into cars. Maybe it's time to get serious about that

Cars are cool, plus it'll help save you money if you can do stuff yourself.

I've done some rust repair

done a shite job but I've learned a lot

I replaced the alternator on my Saturn, it took like a week, but it saved us a lot of money. I love my Saturn, not very much on it breaks, and the stuff that does is easy to fix.

Same with my MX5 though I'm selling it to get some money for a real project car

My dad was a Porsche mechanic when he was younger, now he buys them cheap and broken and fixes em all up and sells em.

normally it would do but it has too much rust so I don't want to invest into it

that's pretty cool

Sometimes I help him out, they have such expensive parts though.

Obviously, video games

I like video games too, they can become very time consuming. I've played a lot less since my little dude was born. I still enjoy watching twitch though.

I mostly do low to med poly car models

made like 4 of them since I'm not that quick. All made for VRChat

That's pretty cool though. I assemble and paint minis, the little DnD models, I find it pretty peaceful.

I always wanted to try DnD but I have no friends xD

It's hard to get enough people together regularly to keep a game going. We've managed a few glorious summers, but It would always be nice to do more.

Maybe one day I'll get enough people online together to try it since it sounds fun

They do have some cool online programs for it nowadays..

Is it true that most people here are ex-TRP?

I'm not TRP, my brother is currently, though. The other guys seem pretty legit in being ex-TRP.

It offers up a lot of principles that draw guys in. It also preys on guys who are vulnerable just from failed relationships or being socially awkward.
