water kills martians

2018-06-02 23:05:20 UTC

@QuinnTheQuartz or crowds of "whiz kids" waving around soviet flags yet saying they are not communists

2018-06-02 23:05:31 UTC

@karbon How about non-capitalist societies in which one needn't sell their labor power to an employer in order to survive? Take for example a hunter-gatherer society, the kind of society in which humans lived for much of our history, and which can aptly be described as "primitive communism,".

2018-06-02 23:05:35 UTC

Water burns martians.

2018-06-02 23:05:37 UTC

Communism is the same way.

2018-06-02 23:05:38 UTC

T_T

2018-06-02 23:06:01 UTC

@Deleted User so communism is a caveman ideology

2018-06-02 23:06:03 UTC

gotcha

2018-06-02 23:06:03 UTC

Communism is like Capitalist Labor, who can form the most unions can have the monolopy on resources.

2018-06-02 23:06:08 UTC

shiiiiiiit cyber

2018-06-02 23:06:12 UTC

👏

2018-06-02 23:06:27 UTC

Capitalism, in its pure form, is a formula for oligarchies to exploit the poor. Given that capitalism is driven by profits and efficiency alone, human and worker’s rights are often ignored for maximum factory efficiency. This allows for attrocious working conditions, massive unsustainable exploitations of natural and human resources.

Only worker movements changed that ^

2018-06-02 23:06:53 UTC

Wrong, your workers do not perform as well under bad conditions of work

2018-06-02 23:06:57 UTC

where did you get that info?

2018-06-02 23:07:07 UTC

I s that why google engineers are so unhappy?

Literal capitalism in 1800s 🤣

2018-06-02 23:07:11 UTC

Someone drank Marxism.

2018-06-02 23:07:27 UTC

And hasn't moved with the times.

They only changed because labour movements fought for change

2018-06-02 23:07:38 UTC

Really?

2018-06-02 23:07:49 UTC

Wouldn't the workers organize themselves alone and refuse to work?

2018-06-02 23:07:51 UTC

>the times

2018-06-02 23:07:53 UTC

@karbon No, it isn't. I don't know of a single Marxist that is a proponent of "primitive communism". That is a phase of historical development which has come and gone, and could never be applicable to an industrialized society. Full Communism entails a post-scarcity society succeeding socialism which itself succeeds capitalism.

2018-06-02 23:08:04 UTC

An union is not exclusive right of marxists

2018-06-02 23:08:05 UTC

>says the capitalist

Capitalists only make concessions when pressure is put on them

2018-06-02 23:08:21 UTC

I don't consider myself capitalist.

2018-06-02 23:08:24 UTC

Or Communist.

2018-06-02 23:08:27 UTC

Is that a thing exclusive to capitalists?

2018-06-02 23:08:38 UTC

I hate both sides for different reasons.

2018-06-02 23:08:43 UTC

Doesn't the democratic state only change when pressure is put on it?

Wtf do you mean @fen

Democratic states are dictatorship of the bourgeoisie

2018-06-02 23:08:59 UTC

@Deleted User post-scarcity isn't possible without a controlled population, lest we bleed this planet of all its resources

2018-06-02 23:09:04 UTC

Workers have always organized themselves, organizing in groups is not something invented by marxists

2018-06-02 23:09:17 UTC

whoa, it's almost as if **the high officials are elected by the people**

2018-06-02 23:09:19 UTC

😮

2018-06-02 23:09:20 UTC

"muh bourgeoisie"
