because that's bad for the profit motive

US workers, and western workers are just too expensive

unless they want to accept a drastic decrease in quality of life they cannot fight the profit motive of capitalism.

like i said they will insist that the costs are made higher by state intervention in markets

2018-06-16 19:21:24 UTC

tbh state, utopia, and anarchy is a good book on libertarian philosophy, i'll read it again probably

2018-06-16 19:22:15 UTC

im pretty late in the conversation but

2018-06-16 19:32:20 UTC

in the US, liberals are considered the embodyment of the left wing

2018-06-16 19:32:30 UTC

just as convervatives are considered the embodyment of the right wing

@Perpetual Moral Imbalance I got that from
```Other words, such as “liberal,” had
been originally identified with laissez-faire libertarians, but had
been captured by left-wing statists```
but it still trips over the fundamental fallacy that statism =/= anti-capitalist and assumes the state cannot be used as a tool bythe capitalists. Which is why i find it dumb when Americans attack me for pointing out the democrats are 'right-wing.' I'm using a broader, more useful political spectrum that's based in the reality that something like 'state monopoly capitalism' exists.
2018-06-16 19:38:17 UTC
tbf its under democrats that corporate america is going to establish its hegemony
^HOLY CRAP THIS
2018-06-16 19:39:04 UTC
I mean, both parties play their role.
I mean democrats can at least **make concessions to the working class**
but we can see those concessions are either too little
or ineffective
or will be revoked
by 'neoliberalism'
2018-06-16 19:40:02 UTC
>democrats
>helping working class
🤔
2018-06-16 19:40:07 UTC
They usually make """"""""concessions""""""""
2018-06-16 19:40:22 UTC
im not sure if their preference for Hillary over Bernie means theyve made a switch to neocon foreign policy or not
@Perpetual Moral Imbalance you read that wrong
I said *make concessions*
that doesn't mean overall *help the working class*
2018-06-16 19:40:42 UTC
they're not quite as bold faced lies as the shit the Republicans offer
hillary is an imperialist literally look what she did to libya
2018-06-16 19:40:46 UTC
but the neocon right is really afraid of whats happening to the GOP
2018-06-16 19:40:54 UTC
right, semantics aside
2018-06-16 19:41:04 UTC
mfw nancy pelosi called $1000 crumbs
the neocon right A.K.A. the intellectual right-wingers
2018-06-16 19:41:10 UTC
@🌼Kalina🌹🌸🌹Zay🌹🌸🌹Scott🌼 The working class of the USA***
2018-06-16 19:41:21 UTC
following tax cuts granting up to $1000 more into middle-class paychecks
tax cuts undermine the social democrat system that is meant to keep the working class in check
2018-06-16 19:42:13 UTC
whoa so the republicans did something right
