Almost everyone

Try carpooling to where you're voting

that hispanic demographic is high relative to the rest of the country

2018-02-07 17:48:15 UTC

that looks similar to the general approval

2018-02-07 17:48:19 UTC

4 out of 10 latino voters support Trump, pretty suprising

2018-02-07 17:48:50 UTC

I think he got 32% of the overall hispanic vote in the election

2018-02-07 17:49:00 UTC

correct

2018-02-07 17:49:08 UTC

Not as good as dubya's margins, but blows McCain and Romney out of the water

2018-02-07 17:49:20 UTC

And Reagan for that matter

2018-02-08 03:10:44 UTC

I made another copypasta to replace my old one for Bill Nelson

2018-02-08 03:10:45 UTC

(Florida -- Bill Nelson)

>Three Term Senator, first elected in 2000 with 51%, Re-elected in 2006 with 60, Re-elected in 2012 with 55%

>Moderate Democrat, Trump Score: 39.3%

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/congress-trump-score/bill-nelson/

Potential Ways of Taking Him Down

According to the Issues:

He believes the Russia LARP. Calls the memo a victory for Putin. He needs to be targeted as a deranged dumbass or conniving traitor who propagates the idiotic Russian conpsiracy theory, which will alienate him with moderates.

is probably going to face Rick Scott in the primaries, who is relatively popular in Florida

Demographically:

>GOP candidate needs to get turnout high in the Panhandle, other rural white areas in FL, and suburban areas by making multiple live appearances in those places

>GOP candidate needs to court the Cuban vote, and enough of the Puerto Rican vote so that it doesn’t make a difference

>GOP candidate needs to win over moderates and independents by beating Nelson in a debate, spending millions of dollars on ads and GOTV

2018-02-08 03:10:49 UTC

what are your thoughts

2018-02-08 03:12:12 UTC

It's more informational than the last one

2018-02-08 03:12:21 UTC

conveys the scenario more comprehensively

2018-02-08 03:12:23 UTC

use it

2018-02-13 08:32:43 UTC

"In a hypothetical U.S. Senate matchup, Governor Rick Scott leads incumbent Senator Bill Nelson 44% to 34% with 22% undecided."

2018-02-13 08:33:17 UTC

I know it's late but for whatever reason I woke up at this time of night

2018-02-13 08:49:52 UTC

Another interesting factor is approval rating

2018-02-13 08:54:24 UTC

Scott has seen his favorability go from 49 A 39 D (+10 pts) in November to 52 A 34 D (+18 pts).
Meanwhile Nelson has seen the reverse happen, with 45 A 22 D (+23 pts) in November to 40 A 27 D (+13 pts).
This means Rick Scott is now both more popular and (presumably as the Governor of the state) more recognizable than Bill Nelson. If he's considering a run, we may just chalk this in the "win" column.

2018-02-13 15:24:44 UTC

Who is running for FL

2018-02-13 15:25:24 UTC

hopefully Scott

2018-02-13 15:25:44 UTC

YEA BOI LORD VOLDIMORT

2018-02-13 15:26:23 UTC

Tfw I don't have a pic of Scott on my phone

2018-02-13 15:26:53 UTC

you from Russia?

2018-02-13 15:26:56 UTC

No

2018-02-13 15:27:20 UTC

So American?

2018-02-13 15:27:25 UTC

This was a meme name because I played arma 2 and WG Red dragon

2018-02-13 15:27:33 UTC

Ah

2018-02-13 15:27:35 UTC

And a ALB

2018-02-13 21:59:40 UTC

BlueMidterm2018 seems to be trying to tell themselves that Nelson has a solid chance

2018-02-13 21:59:52 UTC

"I think there are several factors that will help Nelson this year. As someone who spends his time between a bustling university town and a more suburban area, I have seen and met tons of new Puerto Rican arrivals. I’ve been trying to advertise that you can register to vote online because they are still settling in and registering to vote is not on the top of their list of priorities. Most people that I talk to, however, are fired up. Even my conservative Cuban family is planning on voting Democratic because they’re sick of the racism coming from the White House. With the governor of Puerto Rico vowing to campaign hard against the Republican Party, I think the effect will only get bigger."

2018-02-13 21:59:55 UTC

hmmmm

2018-02-13 21:59:58 UTC

@FLanon what are your thoughts

2018-02-13 22:33:52 UTC

I think I've made my position on the Puerto Rico problem quite clear, the "conservative cuban family voting dem because racism" line is bullshit. Cubans, at least in my sphere of influence, are the most anti-nonwhite kind of people you could ever know. They don't give a fuck about Haiti and see the NFL players as a bunch of rat bastards. If I remember, they had one of the most pro-Trump ethnic demographics in the election.

2018-02-13 22:34:39 UTC

so you think the guy claiming he comes from a conservative Cuban family is an outlier (or even making shit up?)

2018-02-13 22:34:40 UTC

Trump's net approval in Florida is +5 (!) according to Morning Consult

2018-02-13 22:35:02 UTC

Cubans that came here were probably the castizos
