Hillary Clinton supporters would think of Ben Shapiro types as "decent human beings" in contrast to "evil bigoted Trumpers" but they wouldn't be okay being in the same party with them
In Louisiana it's like, if you're white, even if you're far-left, you've basically got to be pro-Confederate monuments.

that's why the Democratic Party is in deep trouble. They aren't going to get any large amount of new voters any time soon. All they have are progressives and neoliberals who are still at each others' throats
