Ahhh
good point
2000
2016
@Deleted User you're saying that a lot of people where you live voted third party in 2016 ?
I'm a 43 year old, college-educated, white man from FL.
I'm a moderate Independent who supports raising the min. wage, sometimes opposes abortion, supports concealed-carry, and supports deporting illegal immigrants.
I voted Hillary Clinton in 2016.
makes sense, because Nebraska is a safely red area
Oh come on!
I'm guessing you live in that one congressional disrict ?
that can go blue ?
How the fuck did this American Voter vote for Cliton?
Supportrs concealed carry and deporting illegal immigrants?
Anyone that supports raising the minimum wage is a complete knuckle head in economics
hence why Independent I guess
but he's not a intellectual, you see
I can see that lol
hey
*sips wine from Tampa balcony*
If by some miracle Trump drags the GOP across the finish line in 2018
And they hold a majority
What would 2020 look like?
Will Republicans most likely gain or lose seats?
I think at this point we're gonna need some sort of hand of God event to happen right before Nov 6 if we want to do well in the midterms
Well I'm just being an idealist for a bit.
Realist yeah we're screwed
It depends on the margins
We've been screwed since 1965
But my question is.
will it be easier to gain seats in 2020 than 2018?
or is it gonig to get harder?
If the margins in the house are similar to the ones now, and the senate margins are significantly better for us, 2020 will be a lock-in.
yes
honestly, here's the thing
Trump will get so much passed through the legislature that he'd be a pretty well-accomplished preisdent and have a lot of the base behind him.
if a 20-swing occurs
discard the generic ballot
Democrats will take more than a 100 seats
It's just that I have not but a damn clue what the fuck will happen in a few months.
Yeah, 20-point swing won't happen.
