So, looking at it that way, Kavanaugh is really our best choice when looking at it purely from his record.

2018-07-08 00:31:15 UTC

Anyways, after Trump's pick to replace Kennedy, I have no doubts as to who he should pick to replace Ginsburg should that choice need to be made, and that would be Barrett.

2018-07-08 00:34:07 UTC

If Kavanaugh should prove to be a wild card on social conservatism, she would absolutely be certain to rule correctly, she is deeply religious to the point that Feinstein discriminated her in her hearings for the appellate courts.

2018-07-08 00:36:41 UTC

I still want Pryor.

2018-07-08 00:36:44 UTC

also

2018-07-08 00:36:47 UTC

Another thing is continuity, Barrett would be a replacement of a liberal woman on the court with a conservative woman, similar to Clarence Thomas being the conservative replacement to the liberal Thurgood Marshall.

I find it hilarious that the big Catholic thing for which Feinstein reprimanded her was the death penalty.

2018-07-08 00:38:02 UTC

She wrote a book saying she believed that the death penalty was legal, but that a judge or justice who does not want to "kill" the convict should recuse his or her self from the case.

So, I don't think I've heard or seen a single commercial from a New York politician

2018-07-08 02:25:46 UTC

But I've overheard Bob Hugin's commercials 1000 different times

2018-07-08 04:46:43 UTC

Hugin's a big social liberal so he's running on a correct platform in NJ.

2018-07-08 04:47:01 UTC

But Menendez has around a 95%~ of winning in NJ.

2018-07-08 05:03:44 UTC

@[Lex] this one frequent ad includes him saying "I am pro choice, pro marriage equality, and support equal pay for equal work"

2018-07-08 05:03:52 UTC

He knows what he needs to do to win

2018-07-08 05:05:03 UTC

Another ad mentions that Obama's Justice department said Menendez deserved to go to jail

This is the correct route to go, no capitulation. We don't give anything unless we get denuclearization as a baseline.

RED STORM TOPIC OF THE DAY - JULY 8, 2018

What things do you think should be done to keep Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania reliably red for 2020?

To secure Michigan and Pennsylvania in 2020, establishing Right to Work in those states would tank the dems by a few points. Ultimately I think Trump will need to work out a trade deal that would lower the trade deficit significantly (eliminate it even), and then we should get a lot of jobs to return to those places. Building the wall is also essential in solving the opioid crisis, as most of the heroin found here in the US originates from Mexico. If Trump were to solve the NK situation, that'd help his general approval, although that's not specific to those states. If he were to get a congressional mandate in 2018 and pass a ton of bills fulfilling his promises, then getting people who showed up for him in 2016 to show up in 2020 would be easy and he'd win those states and then some.

or we can raid 4chan of those respective states
