@Deleted User I like Vukmir but I don't mind Nicholson.

I'd only go there if I didn't care about getting a criminal record for beating up antifags
Probably not.

it sounds like its gonna be a shitshow
I hope it doesn’t hurt us

GOP Congressman Chris Collins of NY27, arrested this week on charges of insider trading, suspends campaign for re-election.
And the propsed write-in candidate is named Wychowzki or something.

>The decline of unemployment is slowing under Trump
I wish I could reply to this with "That might be because it's near zero now."

Maybe get some Auto Jobs back to the Rust Belt
auto jobs are key
It's not really a bad thing for talks to drag to next week anyways. I trust Trump with any negotiations, he's very good at this.
Best to get it done right.
Absolutely

If I’m reading NY election law correctly, no other candidate can run (except write ins) so Democrats get a free pick-up here in this R+24 seat.

There's this thing called a "primary election" and if you lose it, you cannot be removed.
So
Insider trading is basically illegal
also I think you can even still be removed for the ballot from that in the first place
On August 11, 2018, incumbent Republican Chris Collins, who has represented the district since 2013 and was re-elected to a third term with 67% of the vote in 2016, announced that he would withdraw from his re-election campaign after being arrested for insider trading. To remove himself from the ballot, Collins will need to either be nominated as a dummy candidate in another election or move his legal place of residence out of state; he has additional homes in Florida and the District of Columbia that would allow him to do the latter.[113]
