Capitalist

2018-08-29 15:45:10 UTC

But yeah I get it

2018-08-29 15:45:16 UTC

zak

2018-08-29 15:45:30 UTC

Polling is saying that Cubans are like 24 points in the direction of Rick Scott

2018-08-29 15:45:42 UTC

Rick Scott isn't Ron DeSantis

2018-08-29 15:45:49 UTC

Rick Scott is a moderate

2018-08-29 15:45:59 UTC

Well Rick Scott isn't running against a socialist, now is he?

2018-08-29 15:46:18 UTC

Ron DeSantis is a mini trump, which Cubans only voted for by a Margin of 4-5

2018-08-29 15:46:19 UTC

10-15 points, I'm calling it.

2018-08-29 15:46:23 UTC

I think it balances out

2018-08-29 15:46:42 UTC

The thing is, zak, Trump was running against Clinton, who was a liberal capitalist

2018-08-29 15:46:56 UTC

neoliberal

2018-08-29 15:46:57 UTC

5-10

2018-08-29 15:47:01 UTC

I'd be shocked if it's above 10

2018-08-29 15:47:10 UTC

Maybe I'm just too blackpilled

2018-08-29 15:47:20 UTC

10-15, and honestly imo I'm lowballing

2018-08-29 15:47:25 UTC

...

2018-08-29 15:47:31 UTC

I'll hold you to that

2018-08-29 15:47:33 UTC

:)

2018-08-29 15:47:36 UTC

well what about the white vote

2018-08-29 15:47:43 UTC

since they're the majority

2018-08-29 15:48:01 UTC

I'll take that bet honestly

2018-08-29 15:48:14 UTC

Oh the boomers will certainly not vote Gillum over DeSantis

2018-08-29 15:48:16 UTC

Oh but yeah, I think a black socialist is going to be a formidable combo if democrats abandon the white conservative democrat meme.

2018-08-29 15:48:36 UTC

It'll keep the white vote, especially the college educated, and also turn out the blacks

2018-08-29 15:48:36 UTC

pretty sure Trump won the FL white vote by about 30 points

2018-08-29 15:49:42 UTC

Blacks will certainly turn out, white moderates will either keep the governor ballot blank or maybe even vote DeSantis, and cubans will certainly not vote in large numbers for Gillum

2018-08-29 15:50:24 UTC

@zakattack04 do you live in a competitive district

2018-08-29 15:50:32 UTC

@AnonFrom/b/ extremely competitive yes

2018-08-29 15:50:47 UTC

All three credible sources indicate it a tossup

2018-08-29 15:51:16 UTC

and the people that make (((predictions))) have it as lean democrat

2018-08-29 15:51:43 UTC

is it a split-ticket district

2018-08-29 15:51:48 UTC

Which is weird because it wasn't competitive at all prior years, it was always an easy GOP cardy

2018-08-29 15:51:52 UTC

Carry*

2018-08-29 15:51:52 UTC

Mo

2018-08-29 15:51:54 UTC

No*

2018-08-29 15:52:10 UTC

It's Walters vs Some fag that starts with a P

2018-08-29 15:52:16 UTC

Porter I think

2018-08-29 15:52:28 UTC

Also another thing to consider, DeSantis got Miami-Dade in the R primaries by 50 points over Putnam, who was the more moderate guy, so I mean cubans probably will like him more than Trump who got every county in the FL R primary except Miami-Dade

2018-08-29 15:53:02 UTC

Walters is the incumbent, (republican) and she was one of the few CA Republicans to vote for the Goodlatte bill :D

2018-08-29 15:53:06 UTC

I really hope she wins
