So I have a question, I have heard from other people how they would like Trump more if he filters some of his more provocative comments on twitter. Some people I know say that's part of how he became president, and some people I know say that's whats hurting him the most, whats the general consensus of that here? I'm numb to rudeness online.

His provocative nature is a double-edged sword. I am fine with it ultimately, but I would prefer that he channeled it into fighting social justice and other forms of leftist thought issue by issue rather than ranting on Twitter.

Same

2018-09-16 03:40:29 UTC

I love the shitlib triggering it causes but at the end of the day I would like for him to focus on doing something like repealing the 1965 immigration act or building the wall

@PiT @Snoipah If I were in Trump's place, I would use for a similar purpose, but stylistically speaking I'd execute it in a different way.

Trump literally types like the QAnon boomers you see in cookie cutter right-wing Facebook pages.

2018-09-16 03:42:33 UTC

it appeals in the GOP Primary, but not after you win the primary, and not after you win the election

2018-09-16 03:42:37 UTC

maybe Q is trump!?

2018-09-16 03:43:16 UTC

The vast majority of his opposition is rooted in disagreements with Trump's character, rather than policy.

2018-09-16 03:43:29 UTC

He needs a PR reform.

2018-09-16 03:45:08 UTC

"The vast majority of his opposition is rooted in disagreements with Trump's character, rather than policy."

might not be too different even if he were to behave like however the hell these puritans would want him to behave

2018-09-16 03:45:38 UTC

I mean he can help himself certainly

2018-09-16 03:45:43 UTC

I have a friend who supports trump and says his PR issues is a cover to hide any of his policy's faults so everyone only sees people complaining about how he can be a massive heel.

2018-09-16 03:45:56 UTC

He's feeding fuel to that with the "Witch Hunt" stuff

2018-09-16 03:46:01 UTC

"I have a friend who supports trump and says his PR issues is a cover to hide any of his policy's faults so everyone only sees people complaining about how he can be a massive heel."

some truth to that

2018-09-16 03:46:14 UTC

anyway, Trump scores massive bonus points for me for his personal character

2018-09-16 03:46:29 UTC

He has to fulfill on policy.

2018-09-16 03:46:34 UTC

I'm not gonna cheer for some lame sweater vest wearing stuckup like Santorum

2018-09-16 03:46:50 UTC

People seem to have forgotten the time he mentioned something about stricter gun control. . . but having sex with a porn star and grabbing women by the vagina is still a big topic.

2018-09-16 03:46:50 UTC

We didn't support him for a clown show, we supported him for what he promised.

2018-09-16 03:46:53 UTC

That comes first

2018-09-16 03:46:57 UTC

Correction: Trump AND THE GOP CONGRESS need to fulfill on policy

2018-09-16 03:46:58 UTC

Yep

2018-09-16 03:47:08 UTC

and the others in the executive and judicial branch

2018-09-16 03:47:21 UTC

Trump is the bigger part of the two. He has an incredibly large influence in getting it done.

2018-09-16 03:47:30 UTC

And he needs to push for what he's advocating

2018-09-16 03:47:47 UTC

uh huh, but I'm not going to bash him like a whiny histrionic dipshit just because it's not going as fast as I want

2018-09-16 03:47:57 UTC

He's dragging himself through the mud when he doesn't need to.

2018-09-16 03:48:18 UTC

If he doesn't get things done soon, he never will the way things are.

2018-09-16 03:49:03 UTC

I don't think his "issues" on character are that big of an issue

2018-09-16 03:49:10 UTC

Congress will not be easier to deal with next time than what we have.

2018-09-16 03:49:19 UTC

I'm willing to bet five bucks he hasn't built the wall yet because he wants a second term.

2018-09-16 03:49:22 UTC

He has to help himself on that.

2018-09-16 03:49:41 UTC

The wall got him elected, how come it wouldn't win him re-election

2018-09-16 03:49:44 UTC

Berlesconi in Italy had Character issues and all the opposition attacked him was about that but he kept getting reelected because his policies were popular

2018-09-16 03:50:15 UTC

You're a politician, why wouldn't you fulfill what you promised?

2018-09-16 03:50:24 UTC

^

2018-09-16 03:50:37 UTC

His second term would happen if he fulfills his promises

2018-09-16 03:50:52 UTC

It doesn't make sense to shoot yourself in the foot

2018-09-16 03:51:01 UTC

There's a base.

2018-09-16 03:51:27 UTC

Obama got a second term before he fulfilled a lot of his promises, many dems I've spoken to said, and I quote "right now we just need papa obama to finish fixing our nation":
