there's really two types of spending, productive spending and unproductive spending

2018-02-02 04:26:22 UTC

Yeah, but it was from 1963 to 1969. Nixon cancelled it after 1972 because it wasn't really accomplishing much anymore.

2018-02-02 04:26:35 UTC

Indeed.

2018-02-02 04:26:55 UTC

I think in terms of social welfare programs you need a society of potential workers

2018-02-02 04:27:07 UTC

for that you need more homogenity and the such

2018-02-02 04:28:01 UTC

otherwise it devolves into degenerates waiting for their checks every months sitting on their asses like in our reality

2018-02-02 04:28:10 UTC

Indeed.

2018-02-02 04:28:47 UTC

I definitely think that if we are going to spend money, put it into stuff like research and infrastructure

2018-02-02 04:29:21 UTC

if we do have welfare, put it into welfare for the Veterans

2018-02-02 04:30:09 UTC

then it's a reward and not just some presents from uncle sam

2018-02-02 04:31:17 UTC

Yep. Infrastructure is at least capable of helping the economy; research is also helpful but it's not as consistently helpful.

2018-02-02 04:31:47 UTC

When it comes to technologies and efficiency it can be helpful in monumental strides

2018-02-02 04:32:17 UTC

Look at the internet we're typing on right now, that's thanks to DARPA research from the '60s originally IIRC

2018-02-02 04:33:13 UTC

I think if we reach efficiency with certain products, utilities and the such we can lower the cost of living, and in turn that would allow for families to be single income again.

2018-02-02 04:33:32 UTC

That's really my motivation.

2018-02-02 04:36:11 UTC

Alright.

2018-02-02 05:47:02 UTC

Who here has a 4chan pass (aside from me)

2018-02-02 15:39:40 UTC

It seams like it's working. It looks like a lot of people are defending him now on his page

@Den a while back I saw a vid on The Young Turks bitching about him

2018-02-02 16:03:56 UTC

that's how I found out about him

2018-02-02 16:04:06 UTC

the thing is, the other people here think there are stronger candidates

2018-02-02 16:04:11 UTC

forgot their names

2018-02-02 16:04:28 UTC

@🎃Boo-ton🎃 @FLanon Who are you guys backing in Missouri to take down McCaskill ?

2018-02-02 16:05:31 UTC

Yeah that is what I heard. He is a sexy little thing though. He is a little light on experience

2018-02-02 16:05:58 UTC

I thing he could get a lot of Conservative Women to vote for him

2018-02-02 16:06:06 UTC

are you a homosexual

2018-02-02 16:06:57 UTC

No. But you can tell when another guy is good looking. Also he is abnormally good looking so I really think it will help him get elected

2018-02-02 16:07:07 UTC

Ah.

2018-02-02 16:07:22 UTC

I'd wager Hawley is safe.

2018-02-02 16:09:23 UTC

Yeah CNN was trying to whip up the women against Hawley yesterday because he said the sexual objectification of women by Hollywood staring in the 60/70 led to sex Trafficking. Must now MkCunt face is vulnerable

2018-02-02 16:10:24 UTC

the truth is, if you're Republican, every word you mutter will be used against you no matter what

2018-02-02 16:11:07 UTC

How could anyone think what he said was offensive?

2018-02-02 16:11:47 UTC

if i was an elected official, I'd probably spend most of my time avoiding and hiding from the press

2018-02-02 16:44:10 UTC

That in and of itself is an act of cowardice to most swing voters and may stunt publicity severely.

2018-02-02 17:05:49 UTC

tbh the best way to avoid the press if you were an elected official is to be a typical Republican or a Democrat who always votes party line, preferably in a state that few people care about.

2018-02-02 17:05:54 UTC

but where's the fun in that

2018-02-02 17:53:54 UTC

Yeah being a boring politician means you basically have no career advancement
