Earth is round in space but flat irl

2019-05-07 14:09:24 UTC

NASA is a green screen

2019-05-07 14:24:51 UTC

@Doggo You ever thought maybe earth is round, but the shape+dimensions+maps are a lie so are the green screen CGI NASA paintings? I did do the curve calculations assuming a superglobe and the Pic Gaspard photograph was theoretically possible on a "superglobe" some 80,000km in circumference.

The standard Globe model is laughably easy to debunk.

2019-05-07 14:26:23 UTC

How so is the standard globe model easy to debunk?

2019-05-07 14:29:03 UTC

Superglobe's weird you have two moons and two suns

2019-05-07 14:29:14 UTC

Right...

2019-05-07 14:29:32 UTC

But the long distance shot would be theoretically possible on a superglobe, impossible on a standard globe

2019-05-07 14:29:33 UTC

And refraction over that distance and under those conditions is impossible to produce that image?

2019-05-07 14:29:57 UTC
2019-05-07 14:30:02 UTC

Yes because light cuves up

2019-05-07 14:30:28 UTC

That isn't how refraction works

2019-05-07 14:30:33 UTC

It would curve down

2019-05-07 14:30:47 UTC

i.e. around the circumference of the Earth

2019-05-07 14:30:48 UTC

@「阿波根うみこ」 umm so why is the laser curving up then?

2019-05-07 14:30:53 UTC

I don't know

2019-05-07 14:31:00 UTC

Maybe fisheye lense or some other trickery?

2019-05-07 14:31:27 UTC

Because Mick West admitted to me it's a surveyor's rule of thumb with zero actual evidence. I mean if he's right you should be able to shine a laser through air and see it curve down

2019-05-07 14:32:00 UTC

And Mick West is?

2019-05-07 14:32:22 UTC

Owner of metabunk dot com

2019-05-07 14:34:08 UTC

So yeah please show me a laser curve down in air.

2019-05-07 16:14:58 UTC

you don't believe even in gravity?

2019-05-07 16:41:45 UTC

let me just ask you to do something simple

2019-05-07 16:42:03 UTC

go to a place where you can see a ship or a car far away

2019-05-07 16:42:09 UTC

which part of the ship rises first?

2019-05-07 16:42:46 UTC

Nah, he claims that doesn't mean anything because if you use a modern camera you can see it from further away

2019-05-07 16:42:50 UTC

Or was that someone else?

2019-05-07 16:43:43 UTC

I mean, it's kinda hard to remember all the different explanations which don't answer all the questions in one go compared to just gravity which does...

2019-05-07 16:44:04 UTC

gravity exists

2019-05-07 16:46:53 UTC

why the earth is the only flat planet?

2019-05-07 16:47:11 UTC

this theory doesn't make any sense

2019-05-07 17:55:39 UTC

Shell is correct
