I had to deload majorly after breaking my foot a while ago I'm basically just benching about 30kg (not increasing till other lifts catch up a bit) but honestly 5x5 has been a lifesaver, meant I could start again from just the bar and slowly build back up strength without having to change programme

I only ever benched about 50kg anyway before the break tho so I'm not *too* far off where I was
