And yeah, like I got given one pair of em and bought one on eBay after I got my first couple (buckle) I’ve tried to avoid paying retail cause fuck $160 for jeans no matter how well they last
And as far as I understand as long as it’s not shredded to ribbons ( and even then) they replace it
No shit. I wear mine till they are fully in usable. To I look homeless sometimes, sure. But with what I wind up doing fuck it
Damn dog
I need to get my sewing machine up and running, but yeah, I patch mine until I can’t anymore
Have an older machine or newer?
Like it’s not hard to do clean repairs
Nah, not at all
Uhh, old, probably 80’s, I got it off the curb on a college move out weekend
Not bad. I like older machines. They usually hold up better
Yeah, like I doubt it’s busted, people tend to throw away perfectly good stuff around here
Sewing machines, ya, they usually work lol. Rare an old one is propperly fucked
I always always always keep two on hand. A newer is one that can do at least zig zag, and an old all metal geared straight stich machine, you know incase some heavier shit needs doing. Cause those you can give it a good crank by hand on it's flywheel
Yeah, like one of the two usually can fill the role
Plus fishing line for those heavy duty repairs
Oh ya, one would do all. But, I have a thing for redundancy lol
Yeah, like the spider wire shit or whatever it's called. That thread like stuff
Like the Muskie line? I don’t fish so I just call it what I’ve seen
And yeah, I just have like some 10lb test for if my backpacks fuck up
I used to fish. Idk what it's called anymore, everyone makes it. But it's just the thin braided line
But ya, that shit is awweeesome
I keep it on hand for the backpack, pants and plate carrier
Yeah, cause normal thread you’re back and forth over it all day to get it to hold
Yes sir. Still a good idea to do a good bar tack even with good stuff
For sure, really throws me for a loop when people can’t even do a button
Gaht damn, there's really people out there that can't do that?
Loads of em man
Jesus fuck, were screwed lol
Hey man, mom and grandma always put them on for them
😂😂😂
My ma can't do that for shit, or cook. So that's on me. But she can shoot, So I build and maintain her guns lol
My folks never owned guns, perks of having a bunch of mental health issues in the family I guess lol
Damnnn
Your on my team
First one was a vz24 I bought on my 18th birthday for $325
Then I sold it cause I’m a fuckin idiot
Got a Mossberg 500, ended up selling that, my brother gave me a handgun when I got engaged, and then I got another one later on down the road
Never should have sold those long guns
Wow, a bad word usage warning 😋
